*IT’S YOUR JOB TO LET THEM KNOW*

_*For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved…and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher (Romans 10:13-14).*_

Many around the world are still living under the dominion of sin, unaware that Jesus Christ came to set them free from the power of sin. They don’t know He came to give them life so they can live righteously as God wants them to. It’s however our job to let them know.

We’ve been given the Holy Spirit to help others find truth and to lead them in the way of salvation. That’s why you’re here; the Spirit of God has filled your life with the presence, power and the grace of God to make His Word known through you to your world.

Everyone has his world. There’s a world you live in, your sphere of contact. When someone comes into your world, they should learn about Jesus. Only through you will they know how kind and gracious He is and all that He’s done for them.

Your world should be a place where people come to hear and receive God’s Word to transform their lives. So, I ask you: What’s happening in your world? Are you making Christ known to your world or are you prioritizing some other things? Talk about Him and make His presence available to others.

Understand that though the Holy Spirit is here on earth, He doesn’t have His own body, so He uses our bodies. When Jesus walked the earth, the Holy Spirit lived in the body of Jesus. He was the one Jesus called, “my Father that lives in me” (John 14:10). That’s the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit needs your body to function. If you’ll yield to Him, He’ll come into your world and bless it. He’ll change their lives; He has the power to do it. The Bible says, _*“…for with God all things are possible”*_ (Mark 10:27). He can do anything, but He needs you to express Himself.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the privilege to share the message of salvation with those around me, and to be a conduit of your eternal blessings. Through me, many more will come into the knowledge of the truth, their lives will be transformed, and they’ll become fully aware of their inextricable oneness with you, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:*

*||* *John 16:15-16* All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you. 16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. *||*

*||* *Mark 5:18-20* And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. 19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. 20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all [men] did marvel. *||*

*||* *John 4:28-30 NLT* The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, 29 "Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?" 30 So the people came streaming from the village to see him. *||*

*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL*

*ACCEPTABLE WORSHIP*

Monday, April 8th.

Pastor Chris

_*Therefore, let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe (Hebrews 12:28 RSV).*_

Observe that the opening verse tells us to offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe. What does "acceptable worship" mean? It's worship that's according to the Word; that's the worship God accepts.

That you "felt" good during worship doesn't mean it's acceptable worship. Many songs that many have sung through the years and have called worship were not worship at all.

For example, they're those who made a song out of what the psalmist wrote in Psalm 100:4, _*"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise..."*_ King David may have composed it, but today, we do not "enter" into the presence of God. The day you were born again, you were born into the presence of God; that's where you live. In fact, you carry the presence of God in you and with you!

That's why when someone says, "Let's enter into His presence" I ask, "Where are you coming from?" These distinctions may seem subtle, but they are far from mere semantics. True worship is not about emotions, singing, dancing or having melodious tunes; it has to be according to the Word.

The Lord Jesus said, _*"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him"*_ (John 4:23). Someone says, "But I worship with pure conscience." The danger lies in assuming that a pure conscience equates to acceptable worship.

Your conscience will guide you based on the knowledge you possess. If your understanding is limited, your conscience too will be limited; so, it's an insufficient guide. The conscience, as the voice of the human spirit, requires training through the knowledge and understanding of the Word to be able to present to the Lord acceptable worship.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the blessing and privilege to offer acceptable worship to you. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, and glory forever. You're exalted as head over all, and I worship you today in holiness and truth, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *John 4:23-24* But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth. *||*

*||* *Psalm 29:2* Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. *||*

*LIVE UNTO HIM*

_*For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's (Romans 14:8).*_

In life, many grapple with discontentment, burdened by various concerns and life's challenges. Often, their dissatisfaction stems from not having learnt the value and fulfilment of living unto Christ. Living unto Him means finding contentment and fulfilment in what pleases Him, and your displeasure is confined to that which also displeases Him.

In other words, your displeasure can only be a reflection of His displeasure, which means you'll take nothing personally; you become impervious to personal offences. If you claim to be living unto the Lord, but still harbour hurt, offence, or anger, it raises the question of whether your desire to please the Lord is genuine.

It brings to mind the story in 1 Samuel 8:4-7; the elders of Israel approached the prophet Samuel at Ramah, expressing their desire for a king to rule over them like other nations. Samuel, displeased by their request, prayed to the Lord. God responded, instructing Samuel to heed the people's voice, clarifying that their request was a rejection of Him as their King rather than a rejection of Samuel.

The prophet Samuel felt personally offended, but God corrected and taught him a great lesson about being impervious to hurts, as it was about Him, not Samuel. Living for the Lord involves transcending personal feelings and aligning yourself with His divine will.

*CONFESSION*

*Dear Father, I choose to live unto you and please you at all times, full of love towards others. I align my desires with your divine will, and my joy and satisfaction come from pleasing you, living for you, and fulfilling my purpose in Christ. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:*
*||* *Colossians 3:23* And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; *||*

*||* *Galatians 1:10* For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. *||*

*||* *1 Samuel 8:4-7* Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, 5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. 6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. 7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. *||*

*YOU’VE GOT PERFECT HEALTH*

_(The Holy Spirit Has Made You Perfectly Healthy)_

*TO THE BIBLE:*
*1 Corinthians 6:19*
_“...Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”_

*LET’S TALK*

*“Lord Jesus, thank you for making my body your living temple and home,”* Juliana said as she spoke to the Lord. *“Your presence in me guarantees me perfect health and strength all the days of my life. Amen.”*

Juliana believed in perfect health because of the presence of the Holy Spirit in her, and so should you. When you truly believe that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, then that would be the end of sickness or disease in your physical body. You have to consciously meditate on the fact that the Holy Spirit, vitally and literally, lives in you. He perambulates your body to keep it healthy.

Your health was perfected when Christ took up His abode in you. In Psalm 138:8, the Psalmist prophesied, *“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me….”* This has become a reality in Christ Jesus. Your health has been perfected in Him. Hallelujah! Part of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in you and His impact on your physical body is to see to it that your body stays perfect in health.

It’s the reason He guides you to nurture your spirit, soul, and body with the Word. It’s the reason He guides you with wisdom on healthy living. So, take charge of your health and rule over your body with the Word of God. Refuse to yield to sickness. Divine health is your birthright and nature in Christ. Choose to be healthy and strong every day. Hallelujah!

*YOUR DIVINE ASSIGNMENT*

_*But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).*_

What we just read is one of those verses of Scripture that emphasizes the purpose of Christ in you. It’s to make you a partaker of the divine nature, to make you what you just read: “...a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

It’s your responsibility to set forth—make His wonderful deeds known—by displaying the virtues and perfections of divinity. It’s your calling. It’s your divine assignment.

Being born again, you’ve received the Spirit of excellence; now He’s sent you to manifest excellence. What God expects is that you say, “Yes” to your calling, to who you are, and to what He’s made you. You say, “Yes, that’s me; I’m called to set forth God’s wonderful deeds. When I show up, God shows up.”

You’re the full expression and manifestation of His love; you fully represent Him. Also, think about the fact that the Bible says you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). This means you’ve become the very expression of His righteousness. You’re the expression of His goodness, the expression of His kindness, and the expression of His grace. You’re the expression of His personality; everything the Father is and represents is expressed in and through you.

Therefore, part of your divine assignment is to express the will, character and nature of God. That’s righteousness. You’ve been endowed with the ability and charged with the responsibility to manifest and express the will and nature of the Father in every situation, in every event, and in every matter. Blessed be God!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for endowing me with the ability, and charging me with the responsibility to manifest and express your will and nature in every situation. You have made me a wonder and a vessel to show forth your wonderful deeds to my world. I display your beauty, excellence, glory, honour and splendour for the world to see and come to the brightness of my rising, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:*
*||* *Psalm 79:13* So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations. *||*

*||* *Matthew 5:16* Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. *||*

*||* *2 Corinthians 5:18-19* And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. *||*

*WE’RE IN HIS MARVELLOUS LIGHT*

_*But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).*_

Everything God does has an end—an excellent end. He never leaves us hanging or in limbo. Think about what we just read in our theme verse: the latter part says He called us out of darkness into His marvellous light.

It reminds of the scripture in Deuteronomy 6:23, _*“And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.”*_ He brought us out of darkness, to bring us into His marvellous light. We’re now in His marvellous light; we’re not journeying into His marvellous light.

In Colossians 1:13, we read something similar; it says, _*“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”*_ He lets us know that we’re not in the arena, the realm or the jurisdiction of darkness; we’ve been transferred into the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son. That’s your place of domicile. Hallelujah!

In Deuteronomy 6:23 where it says, _*“...he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in….”*_ By “thence” He was referring to Egypt. Egypt was symbolic of the world; it symbolized darkness. His purpose for bringing us out of darkness (the world) was to bring us into His Kingdom. His focus wasn’t our coming out of darkness, so the celebration isn’t that we’re out of darkness but that we’re in His marvellous light.

Another thought along the same line is in what the Lord said to Paul in Acts 26:18, _*“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God….”*_ Again, we see God’s purpose: it’s to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God and He’s fulfilled it! You’re in His marvellous light now and that light dispels darkness.

*CONFESSION*

*I celebrate my glorious life in the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son, rejoicing in His light and dominion forever! I’m enthroned with Christ, and I shine and reign gloriously by grace, through righteousness. My journey in life is one of glory, triumph, success, prosperity and blessed assurance. Hallelujah!*

*FURTHER STUDY:*

*HIS WORD IS ALL THE PROOF YOU NEED*

_*According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).*_

‭‭In 1 Corinthians 3:21, the Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, corroborates what Peter pens for us in the verse above. He says, _*“...all things are yours.”*_ You have all things in Christ, and Christ is in you.

God’s divine power, not your own ability or human wisdom, has given unto you ALL things that pertain to life and godliness. This means you’re not supposed to ever be in lack or want. You’ve got to believe this because it’s God’s Word about you.

When God says He’s done something, you don’t have to try to claim it; you simply endorse it and act accordingly. His Word is all the proof you need. The Lord Jesus said, _*“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away”*_ (Matthew 24:35).

Then in Isaiah 55:10-11, He says, _*“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”*_

God’s Word is dependable. It never fails and will always produce what it talks about if you’d act on it. Don’t place a limit on your life. You’re a child of God, and He’s brought you a life of endless resources: limitless blessings and opportunities. Consciously and consistently walk in the light of His Word.

There’s nothing you could ever need or desire for a godly life that’s not already yours in Christ. Recall what we read in our opening verse; it’s also in line with what the Bible says in Ephesians 1:3: _*“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”*_ Hallelujah!

God’s Word is all the proof you need that you’re one with the Lord, you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you have divine health, you’re a success, you’re superior to Satan and can do all things through Christ. The Word says whatsoever you do shall prosper (Psalm 1:3); live on the basis of the Word.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for giving me everything I require to live victoriously and be a success in life. You’ve not called me to poverty, sickness, disease or infirmity, but to glory and virtue. You’ve given me a life of praise, glory and thanksgiving every day, everywhere, and at all times. Praise God!*

*EVER-INCREASING PROSPERITY*

_*Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).*_

Something is wrong when someone who was oncedoing very well financiallysuddenlystartsexperiencingunimaginable, protractedfinancialtrouble.Until and unless that individual discerns that that isn’t God’s plan for any of His children, he may blame circumstances, the government or other people around him for his predicament.

He might even blame himself for taking certain actions that he shouldn’t have. But the question is: Does he really know the truth? It’s important that you know who you are, who God is, what you have in Him, and who He is to you. God is your source.

The Bible says we’re heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. In Christ, your prosperity is stable and ever increasing. It’s from glory to glory. We don’t go up to come down. It makes no difference the level of inflation and how unstable the world’s economy gets; when you recognize that your true source is the Lord, you’ll be independent of circumstances, unruffled by the state of the world’seconomy.

The Bible declares what the one who’s blessed of the Lord shall be like: _*“For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit”*_ (Jeremiah 17:8). This tells you something about the consistency of the prosperity of God’s people, following God’s plans.

Part of your new creation heritage is that you’re plugged into an unending supply. Your source never runs dry. Your source isn’t the government, society, job, business, family or anyone else for that matter; it’s the Lord. Look to Him and trust Him for your finances as you act on His principles for financial abundance.

*CONFESSION*
_*The Lord is my Shepherd—to feed, guide and shield me; I lack nothing! He makes me lie down in fresh, tender green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Therefore, I walk in ever-increasing prosperity, possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. Glory to God!*_

*FURTHER STUDY:*
*Psalm 1:1-3;* - Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 - But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 - And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

*2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC;* And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].

*Luke 6:38* - Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

*KEEP YOUR FAITH ACTIVE*

_*But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).*_

Everything in the Kingdom of God operates by the principle of faith. So nurturing your faith is so important. Even for the Rapture, your faith would be required because not everyone will hear the sound of the trumpet.

The Bible says, _*“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed”*_ (1 Corinthians 15:52). The sound of the trumpet will be audible only to the Christians who died in Christ already and those alive at the time.

Everybody else won’t hear it because the sound of the trumpet would only be heard by faith. But it’s not something you’re going to make an effort to hear because as a Christian, you already live by faith. Everything about your life and your relationship with God is by faith; therefore, you’re going to hear it.

The Bible says, _*“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found…”*_ (Hebrews 11:5). He was raptured by faith. So, with your faith in Jesus Christ, you have nothing to worry about; trust that when the trumpet sounds, you’re going to hear it.

Every Christian ought to go at the Rapture. It therefore means that anyone who doesn’t hasn’t been living the life of faith and living for the Lord. Keep your faith alive, and live for the Master every day. Walk in love and in righteousness. Focus on getting others ready for the Rapture and into the Kingdom of God.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for my faith in Jesus Christ that’s unwavering and unshakable. I walk in the light of your Word and of my salvation, passionate about the expansion of your Kingdom in the earth, and the reign of your righteousness in the hearts of men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:*
