BULLIES OF THE PASTOR IN THE CHURCH

The following are groups of people in the church who feel they can push an average pastor around:

1. FORMER CHURCH LEADERS

When a former church leader remains in the same church, he may feel entitled to order the present pastor around, after all, he had led the church before him.

2. CHURCH COUNCIL OR ELDERS

The church council or elders may want to dictate to the pastor how to run the church.

3. RICH MEMBERS

There are rich members who feel without them the church cannot move forward financially, hence, they leverage on that to dictate to the pastor what should or not be done.

4. INFLUENTIAL MEMBERS

Members with influence within and without the church sometimes presume to be in a position to tell the pastor what he should do.

5. PIONEERS OF THE CHURCH

Those who were the first members of the church and know the history of the church may want to occupy the position of advisers and if not allowed could become bullies.

6. CHILDREN OF FOUNDERS

When a pastor has the children of founders of the church in his congregation, some of them could be problematic and troublesome.

7. POWER DRUNK DEACONS

Deacons sometimes unite to become power brokers in the church, instructing the pastor what should be obtainable.

8. RECOMMENDER OF THE PASTOR

The one who recommended or brought the pastor into the church may presume he could call the shots and push the pastor around.

9. MEMBERS WHO ARE DENOMINATIONAL OFFICERS

Members who are denominational officers by virtue of associating with denominational leaders may feel they are superior to their pastor and so could instruct him.

10. MISGUIDED YOUTHS

Youths who are supposed to be the backbone and future of the church could be influenced by nefarious characters into fighting the pastor .

11. INFLUENTIAL PASTORS

There are other pastors in the same denomination who by virtue of their many years in ministry and popularity may want to bully a local pastor.

12. DENOMINATIONAL LEADERS

Some leaders in the denomination may want to Lord it over or intimidate a local pastor for selfish reasons or sheer bravado

The pastor of a local church remains accountable to God and as such should be allowed to carry out his functions as led by God.

*GOD REWARDS KINDNESS TO HIS SERVANTS*

*“Look now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly. Please, let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so it will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there” (2 Kings 4:9-10 NKJV).*

*Servants of God are gifts that God has given to the world (Ephesians 4:7-11). Although they have weaknesses like other human beings, you must not see them only as ordinary. You should appreciate the grace of God upon their lives and the ministry He has committed into their hands.*

More importantly, you should show them kindness. Kindness is “the quality of being generous, helpful, and caring about other people, or an act showing this quality”

There is a reward for whatever you do for or against a servant of God. You determine the reward you will receive. The notable woman of Shunem was kind to the prophet of God, Elisha, without him begging her for anything.

*What kindness are you showing to God’s servants ministering to you? Do you do them good or evil? Do you contribute to meeting their needs or only take from them? Are you causing problems for them or helping them to solve problems? God rewards kindness to His servants. There are both earthly rewards and heavenly rewards.*

Dear God,

Thank You for this new day and the opportunity to begin again. I ask for Your guidance and wisdom in all that I do today.

Help me stay focused on my goals and remain driven through every task, no matter how small or big.

Grant me the strength to face challenges, the patience to handle setbacks, and the courage to keep pushing forward, no matter what obstacles may arise.

May I work with integrity and honor in every step I take. Help me manage my time well, stay motivated, and use my talents and skills to the fullest.

Please provide me with the energy and perseverance I need to accomplish my work and meet the demands of the day.

Allow me to be a light to others, offering kindness, respect, and encouragement in all my interactions.

Above all, may I always remember that my work is a reflection of my gratitude for the blessings You’ve given me. Keep me grounded in faith and trust, knowing that You are guiding me through every hustle and every challenge.

HIDDEN TRUTHS ABOUT MARRIAGE!!!
1. There is nothing that threatens the security of a wife than the thought of another woman competing for the attention and affection of her husband. Nothing is more painful. Nothing is more disrespecting. Nothing is more insulting. Nothing is more belittling and degrading.
2. Marriage flourishes when the couple work together as a team; when both husband and wife decide that winning together is more important than keeping score. Good marriages don’t just happen. They are a product of hard work.
3. Your children are watching you and forming lasting opinions on love, commitment, and marriage based on what they see in you. Give them hope. Make them look forward to marriage.
4. Husbands: The reason why other women look attractive is because someone is taking good care of them. Grass is always green where it is watered. Instead of drooling over the green grass on the other side of the fence, work on yours and water it regularly. 10. Don’t take your spouse for granted. Don’t take advantage of your spouse’s meekness and goodness. Don’t mistake your spouse’s loyalty for desperation. Don’t misuse or abuse your spouse’s trust. You may end up regretting after losing someone that meant so much to you.
