The GGFAN Women's Seminar conducted by Rev Lucy Thuo at GGFAN Gitei church in Kipipiri Region.

The Seminars, held at the regional level, aim at drawing women closer to God by sharing the Word of God with them. The women get the chance to be counselled on various challenges that affect them.

David John Muturi was yesterday ordained by our Bishop, Simon Mwaura, to serve in the office of a pastor under the GGFAN Ministry. Pastor David will be ministering at GGFAN Karima-ini Church in Shamata Region together with his wife, Lucy Nyambura.

Good news for the Ilchamus community, they now have a Bible written in their language. To God be the glory!
The Ilchamus New Testament Bible will be launched and dedicated on 8th October, 2022.

The Ilchamus New Testament was shipped into the Country in August 2022. It is now awaiting dedication and launch on Saturday, 8th October 2022.

The Ilchamus community is one of the ‘Maa’ communities based in Baringo County and among the 27 language communities that BTL is currently working with in Kenya.

We celebrate the completion of this New Testament whose foundational work began in 2006.

Within the translation period, the Gospel of Matthew was completed and dedicated in 2015, the Gospel of Luke in 2017, and several Epistles in 2018.

These Scripture portions are currently the only “Bible” the Ilchamus have access to in their language.

We praise God that finally after 16 years, they will be able to hear God speak to them in the language they understand best through the entire New Testament which is now completed.

Pray for the dedication plans which are ongoing both in Ilchamus and Nairobi. Pray for the success of that day.

The Pastors and Pastor's Wives Seminar in Nyahururu Region hosted by Bishop Simon Mwaura at the Nyahururu Town church. The Guest Speaker was Julie Broderson from Centenary United Methodist Church in USA.

The seminar was attended by Pastors from Nyahururu Region and their wives.
