What a wonderful day it was at Juniper

We thank God for a wonderful and refreshing day today at Juniper Park Resort, where the PCEA Manguo Parish Brigade—bringing together both boys and girls—enjoyed a vibrant and memorable outing as we prepare our school-going Brigaders to return to school next week.

The atmosphere was full of joy, energy, and fellowship as the Brigaders participated in a wide variety of activities. From exciting outdoor games like football, volleyball, swimming, and swinging, to engaging indoor and mind games such as scrabble, chess, draft (checkers), and team-building challenges—there was something for everyone. These moments not only brought fun and laughter but also strengthened teamwork, confidence, and unity among the Brigaders.

We crowned the day with a delicious lunch, shared in great company, making the experience even more fulfilling and memorable.

Indeed, it was a day of bonding, refreshment, and inspiration. As our Brigaders head back to school, may they carry with them the joy, friendships, and lessons learned—ready to shine, grow, and make a positive impact wherever they go.

Today, PCMF Manguo Parish successfully held a meaningful and impactful follow -up seminar at PCEA Mairo-inya Church for the young men who were recently initiated.

The seminar was graced by a professional counsellor together with dedicated and wonderful mentors who guided the young men through this important transition in life. Through inspiring teachings, mentorship, and open discussions, the young men were encouraged to embrace discipline, responsibility, respect, and a strong Christian foundation.

Key areas covered included personal growth, making wise decisions, choosing the right company, and overcoming the challenges faced by young people today. The mentors shared valuable life lessons, reminding the to young men that true strength is reflected in character, integrity, and faith in God.

After the sessions, we shared a warm and joyful luncheon together, creating a great opportunity for interaction, bonding, and mentorship through meaningful conversations.

We sincerely thank the counsellor, mentors, church leaders, parents, and the entire PCMF fraternity for their support in making this seminar a success. Your commitment to nurturing the next generation is truly appreciated.

As a church, we remain dedicated to walking alongside these young men as they grow into responsible, disciplined, and God-fearing leaders.

What a powerful and spirit-filled day it has been! Today, PCEA Manguo Parish joyfully gathered at PCEA Faith Church to mark the grand climax of our April Rally. Indeed, God showed up in a mighty way! 🔥

📖 Powerful Word of God
We were richly blessed by the sermon delivered by Rev. Joseph Mugenyu from John 20:25–31. The message touched deeply on faith, the power of the resurrection, and overcoming doubt.

🌅 1. Christ Has Risen – Our Hope is Alive!
Because Jesus lives, our faith is renewed and reassured! We hold onto:

🙌 We thank God for His presence, for every participant, and for the success of this rally. May the Word we received today continue to grow in our hearts and produce lasting fruit.

Today, we were blessed to gather for our Easter Holy Communion Service, where Rev. Joseph Mugenyu delivered a powerful sermon drawn from Luke 22:39–42.
He reminded us that:
We should always depend on God, for people may fail us.
Let us remain prayerful at all times, because God never disappoints.
Our expectations should be placed in God alone, not in people.
As believers, we must handle church matters in a Godly and peaceful way.
It is only through prayer that we can overcome the battles we face in life.
The road to Gethsemane may be painful, but it will surely come to an end.
Every struggle, difficulty, and painful moment we face today will pass, and we shall enjoy the fruits of victory.
The service concluded with members partaking in the Holy Communion together in unity and reverence, followed by sharing warm wishes of a Blessed Easter Celebration with one another.
May the victory of Christ strengthen our faith and give us hope in every season.
