Woodlands Church Nairobi was planted by a mission team from Woodlands Church Texas under the leadership of Pastor Morris Opati in September 2012. In February 2014 this church went through a leadership transition and Pastor Oscar Wekesa assumed the role of the Lead Pastor with a leadership team; after which Woodlands Church Nairobi became ICC woodlands Rongai under the leadership of Bishop Philip

Kitoto as Senior Pastor and Pastor Oscar as the Campus Pastor. On May 21st 2017 the church was made an autonomous assembly and Pastor Oscar and Gladys Wekesa became the Senior Pastors. What informs and inspires our vision is based on Ezekiel 47:12 "Fruit trees of all kinds will grow along both sides of the river. The leaves of these trees will never turn brown and fall, and there will always be fruit on their branches. There will be a new crop every month, for they are watered by the river flowing from the Temple. The fruit will be for food and the leaves for healing.”

Our strategy is Be3- BELIEVE.BELONG.BECOME. BELIEVE: Commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. BELONG: Is a commitment to a weekly small group experience with other believers. Sharing a life of faith with a community of young believers. BECOME: Is a commitment to live out and practice a life of love and service to others using their God-given S.H.A.P.E ( Skills, Habits, Abilities, Personality, Experiences).
