A mother is more than a caregiver; she is a pillar of prayer, wisdom, sacrifice, and spiritual strength in both the family and the church. Many destinies have been preserved because a mother chose to kneel in prayer, speak life, and stand in faith even in difficult seasons.
As a church, we celebrate and honor all mothers for their love, service, guidance, and unwavering commitment to God’s work. Your hands build homes, your prayers build generations, and your faith strengthens the body of Christ.
Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the gift and impact of mothers together in God’s presence.

“Her children arise and call her blessed…” — Proverbs 31:28

2026 THEME LAUNCH

We thank God for a powerful and memorable Sunday as our Senior Pastor, Rev. Brian Mutai, led us in the launch of our 2026 Theme. The service was marked by an atmosphere of faith, hope, and great expectation as we embraced the theme: Growing in Faith to Conquer This Mountain.

As a church, we commit ourselves to growing in faith, trusting God to give us the grace and strength to conquer every mountain before us, and to walk boldly in obedience to His promises.
“Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day.”
Joshua 14:12 (NKJV)

Yesterday, we experienced a beautiful and sacred moment as we witnessed the baptism officiated by Rev. Brian Mutai. Two candidates took this step after faithfully completing their catechism classes last year, and it was truly a reminder that God is still calling people into a deeper walk with Him. We give thanks for the commitment and guidance of our catechism teacher, Mr. Patrick Korir, whose dedication helped prepare them for this important journey of faith. Congratulations to those who were baptized, may the grace of God keep you, strengthen you, and establish you in Christ.

After the baptism, we continued with our Sunday service, where Mr. Patrick Korir shared a powerful message titled “Be an Example” from 1 Timothy 4:12–16. The Word challenged and encouraged us to live lives that reflect Christ in every way, being an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. This was a timely reminder that our Christianity is not only what we say, but what we live daily. We are called to be the light wherever we are, and to let our lives point others to Jesus.
May the Lord help us to walk in His Spirit, grow in His Word, and remain faithful witnesses of His love. Have a blessed week ahead.

We had a wonderful worship service today!
The presence of God was so rich, and the Word came with clarity and power. Pastor Leonard Lang’at was our speaker, sharing a timely message on compassion from Colossians 3:12 (NIV) — “Clothe yourselves with compassion…”

He reminded us that compassion is more than feeling sorry for others; it is seeing people the way God sees them and responding with love. From the story of the Good Samaritan, we learned that true compassion sees, feels, and acts — it is never passive.

Pastor taught that compassion reflects God’s nature (Psalm 103:8), it was at the center of Jesus’ ministry (Matthew 9:36), and it reveals our spiritual maturity (1 John 3:17). A compassionate heart has open eyes to notice needs, an open heart to feel with others, and open hands ready to help (James 2:15–17).

We also looked at powerful biblical examples like Jesus touching the l***r, the father running to his prodigal son, and Ruth’s faithful love toward Naomi. Finally, we were encouraged to grow in compassion by asking God to soften our hearts, slowing down to notice people, listening before judging, serving even when it’s inconvenient, and forgiving quickly.

Have a blessed week.

We had a wonderful Sunday service yesterday, marked by several joyful moments as we celebrated our 4th anniversary and took time to appreciate our dedicated pastoral team for their faithful service and leadership at Ngong AGC.

The day was graced by a powerful sermon delivered by our Senior Pastor Rev. Brian Mutai from Genesis 28:10–22, focusing on Jacob’s encounter with God at Bethel. Jacob was fleeing for his safety when God appeared to him in a dream. In that divine encounter, God gave him three promises: the land on which he was lying would belong to him and his descendants; his offspring would be as numerous as the dust of the earth; and through him, all the families of the earth would be blessed. God also assured Jacob of His protection and presence wherever he went.

After the dream, Jacob recognized that the Lord was in that place. He responded by setting up a pillar as a memorial and naming the place Bethel, meaning “House of God.” This part of the message reminded us of our own journey as Ngong AGC ;a small church that began four years ago, and through God’s faithfulness, has continued to grow and fulfill the Great Commission. Jacob then made a vow, declaring that if God would indeed protect and provide for him, the place would become a house of worship, and he would give back to God a tenth of all that he received.

We also took time to appreciate our pastors for their tremendous work: mentoring, equipping, praying, and dedicating themselves wholeheartedly to the service of God and His people. We are truly grateful for their unwavering commitment and faithful leadership. May the Lord continue to bless them, strengthen them, and keep them as they serve in His vineyard.

The pictures below capture some of the beautiful moments from yesterday’s celebration and remind us once again of God’s faithfulness throughout our journey as Ngong AGC.
