Samson was one of the strongest men in the Bible. Empowered by God, he defeated lions, broke ropes as if they were threads, and overcame entire groups of Philistine enemies. Yet his greatest downfall didn’t happen on the battlefield.

It happened because he repeatedly ignored God’s warnings and placed his trust in the wrong person.

Delilah didn’t overpower Samson with strength. She gained access to his heart. After repeatedly pressing him to reveal the secret of his strength, Samson finally told her what he should have guarded. That moment of misplaced trust led to his capture.

This story reminds us that spiritual strength requires more than power—it requires wisdom and discernment. Be careful who you allow to influence your heart. Not everyone who draws close to you has your best interests at heart. 🙏🏻🤍
