WHEN GOD SPEAK HE HAS SPOKEN
When balack king of Moab saw what the Israelites had done to the ammonites he summoned Balaam to come and curse the Israelites so that he could be able to defeat them because he knew Balaam had power to curse or bless .
Numbers 22:6 Now come and put a curse on these people, because they are too powerful for me. Perhaps then I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that whoever you bless is blessed, and whoever you curse is cursed.”
> Balaam was summoned with a promise of being rewarded handsomely if he cursed the Israelites but he replied in Numbers 22:18 Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything great or small to go beyond the command of the Lord my God.
> When Balaam refused to curse Israelites after balack sent his officials two times the king thought it Wise to change places of action to pursuade Balaam to curse Israelites but he responded in Numbers 23:8 How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced? Despite that answer balack never gave up instead he took Balaam to different places and continued to pursuade him to curse the Israelites but this time God Sayed to him through Balaam in Numbers 23:19-20 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it.
> This should teach us that when God speak he has spoken and nobody or anything can disqualify you from what God has said about you regardless of what that person will do or say even if they change places of action his words over your life must come to pass . If God say you are blessed, you will be victorious nobody can say otherwise. The only person who can disqualify you is yourself when you doubt and rebel against God .
