Just wanted to let every one know we are having an informal get-together at our church (Sunny Knik Chapel mile 14.1 Knik Road) on Friday night October 5th. We are doing a presentation about our trip to Africa. We'll have pictures, stories, and maybe we'll sing a Kenyan song or two....also we will answer questions that anyone has. Please come if you are interested in hearing about our trip and our 'tentative' future plans to go back. We are staring around 7:00 pm but will have a pot-luck dinner/dessert??? starting at 6:00 for anyone who wants to come early. As most of you know, we had to leave Kenya early. Our work permits that would allow us to stay longer have been held up in immigration. It is bitter sweet for us, bitter to leave friends and a people that we love, but sweet to go home to friends, family and people that we love. Thank you all for your prayers and support. God has been so amazing and faithful. We serve an awesome God. Please prayer for Wisdom, Discernment and Direction. " Many are the plans in a man's heart but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

This is Angel, a girl we had the privilege to watch while her guardian (grandmother) was in the hospital taking care of a young women that was dying. Angel became Taylins shadow, she was not sure of Wesley and Dave though. It was a fun having her around, but man is a 4 yrs old busy.

Here are a couple of pictures of the projects Dave and Wesley have been blessed to work on while in Kitale. Due to the sensitive nature and to protect the girls that Taryn and Taylin have been blessed to work with we have no pictures. But know that it has been a huge blessing to them both to have an opportunity to be around these precious girls
