Dear comrades,
As the year is beginning and we're looking forward to living together in the coming years, I feel good to share the fable of the porcupines to highlight the importance of staying together despite our differences in any way.

*The Fable of the Porcupine.*
It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold.

The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm.
This way they covered &
protected themselves;
but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions.
After a while, they decided to distance themselves one from the other & they began to die, alone & frozen. So they had to make a choice. Either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth. Wisely, they decided to go back to being together.

They learned to live with the little wounds and pains caused by the close relationship with their companions in order to receive the warmth & heat that came from the others. This way they were able to survive.

The moral here is that *the best group is not the one that is made up of perfect friends, brothers,sisters and relatives, but by each individual member learning to live with the imperfections of others & yet admire the other person's good qualities.*

May we find it better to be surrounded by warm pokes than be frozen in solitude.

*May the love that brought us together bind us together and keep us healthy and strong enough to stand the storms, the heat and all the changing weathers and seasons of life, as God grants us the grace to share in this journey of life together.*
*Happy new year 2021 and God bless us all*

The only bird that dares to peck an eagle is the raven. It sits on the eagle's back and bites its neck. However, the eagle doesn't respond or fight with the raven. It does not spend time or energy with the raven. It just opens its wings and begins to fly higher in the sky. The higher the flight, the harder it is for the raven to breathe and the raven eventually falls due to lack of oxygen. Not all battles you need to respond to. Not all arguments or critics you need to respond to or answer back. Just lift up a standard, they'll fall off! Stop wasting time with the 'ravens'. Just take them to your height and they'll fade away. The enemy may sit on your back and bite your neck... But remember, "The race is not for the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor the bread to the wise, nor riches to men of skill, but time and chances happen to them all" May The Lord take you to a height where it'll be difficult for the enemies to peck on you in Jesus name!

Do not be like a leaf blown in the wind. Rather hold firmly to My word of truth which stands solidly, without wavering. Position yourself in faith so that regardless of the challenges you face, you cannot be moved. Refuse to allow your confidence in Me to be undermined. Stand strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
