1st Reading Exodus 12:1-12
2nd Reading 1st Corinthians 5:6-8

TOPIC: THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD
Speaker: Lay Elizabeth Naikumi
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed…but with the precious blood of Christ.” 1 Peter 1:18–19

The blood of Jesus is powerful!
✔️ It redeems us from sin
✔️ It sets us free from bo***ge
✔️ It makes us new in Christ
✔️ It gives us victory over sin and death

We were once slaves to sin, but through His blood, we now have eternal life (Romans 6:23).
If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Today, walk in that freedom and victory because there is power in the blood of Jesus!

1st Reading Phillippians 3:7-11
2nd Reading Luke 24:13-35
Psalms 118
Speaker: Ven. Samuel Ole Naikumi

Topic: THE RESURRECTION: HOPE RESTORED
The resurrection of Jesus is not just an event, it is a life-changing encounter. When you meet Jesus, you find hope restored.

On the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35), the disciples were discouraged and confused. Yet Jesus came and walked with them, even in their doubt. This reminds us:

*Jesus meets us in our doubts and discouragement.
“Were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the road?” (Luke 24:32)

*We must invite Jesus into our lives.
“Stay with us…” (Luke 24:29)

Recognition comes in fellowship
They recognized Him in the breaking of bread showing that Jesus is revealed in communion and fellowship.
“Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him.” (Luke 24:31)
*The Resurrection brings hope and victory
“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
Lessons:
✔ When you meet Jesus, you find hope
✔ Jesus walks with us in doubt and discouragement
✔ Understanding comes when we open our hearts
✔ Fellowship leads to revelation
✔ The mission is urgent—share the good news
✔ Knowing Christ releases resurrection power

May we invite Jesus daily, walk with Him, and experience the transforming power of His resurrection.

03/04/2026

Friday 3rd April 2026 Good Friday Service at ACK ST.LUKE'S Church Narok.
1st Reading Hebrews 10:1-18
2nd Reading 26:36-46
Psalms 130
THEME: SUFFERING – THE PRICE HE PAID
Speaker: Ven. Samuel Ole Naikumi
Lessons:
It is called Good Friday not because of the pain… but because of the PURPOSE.
The death of Jesus Christ is significant because of the debt He paid for us. He went through deep suffering, emotional, physical, and spiritual so that we could have life.

In our lives, we also face many “cups” of suffering. But we serve a God who hears and answers prayers 🙏

Suffering comes in stages:
*In the hands of friends
Jesus was betrayed by Judas, denied by Peter, and abandoned by the disciples.
Sometimes, pain comes from those closest to us.

*In the hands of enemies
He was mocked, beaten, and crucified.
Not everyone will understand your journey.

*In the hands of His own people (servants)
Even those who should stand with us may fail us.

So what do we learn from suffering?

Matthew 26:39 – Fall on your face before the Father and pray.
👉 Prayer is our greatest weapon.

Matthew 26:39 – “Not as I will, but as You will.”
👉 Trust God’s will above your own.

Matthew 26:40–42 – Watch and pray.
👉 Know your limits and depend on the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 26:46 – Rise, let us go!
👉 Don’t stay down—stand up and move forward.
Focus on Jesus. Even in suffering, there is purpose. Even in pain, there is victory.

This Good Friday, remember:
* Your suffering is not the end of your story.
* God is still working.
* Victory is coming.

1st Reading Zechariah 9:9-13
2nd Reading Matthew 21:1-11
Psalms 61

Lessons:

“Hosanna” — Save us now!
This powerful cry reminds us of our deep need for God’s salvation and intervention in our lives.
The Donkey – A Symbol of Peace & Humility
Jesus chose a donkey, not a horse, showing that His kingdom is not built on war, but on peace, humility, and love. Even in humility, there is victory.
Palm Branches – A Sign of Victory & Praise
The people waved palms, declaring victory and honoring the King. Today, we also celebrate the victory we have through Christ.

Lessons from Palm Sunday
✔ True leadership is shown through humility
✔ Peace comes from God, not the world
✔ Let us welcome Jesus into our hearts
✔ Rejoice in the gift of salvation
✔ Jesus came to restore, heal, and redeem us

“Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” Matthew 21:9

May we not only celebrate with our lips, but also live out His message in our hearts and actions.

Sunday 23th March 2026 Sunday Service at ACK ST.LUKE'S Church Narok.
1st Reading 1st Samuel 16:1–13
2nd Reading Philippians 2:1–11
Psalms 86
Speaker: Ven. Samuel Ole Naikumi
Lessons:
God does not look at us the way people do. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7)

In a world that celebrates appearance, success, and recognition, God is searching for something deeper a heart fully surrendered to Him.

From 1st Samuel 16:1–13, we see how David was chosen not because of his appearance, but because of his heart.

Philippians 2:1–11 reminds us to walk in humility, just like Christ.

Psalms 86 shows us a heart that cries out to God in sincerity and dependence.

What destroys a good heart?
*Pride, especially after success
*Self-centeredness (“me, myself, and I”)
*The sin of sloth (spiritual laziness)
*Entertaining godless things

How do we develop a heart for God?

*Stay humble even in success
*Avoid things that pull you away from God
*Be available for God to use you
*Continually trust in God
*Live with a repentant heart
*Make worship a lifestyle, not an event

God is not looking for perfection He is looking for a heart that is willing, humble, and surrendered.

22/02/2026

Sunday 22nd February 2026 AGM Service at ACK ST.LUKE'S Church Narok.
1st Reading Jeremiah 181-11
2nd Reading Luke 18:9-14
Psalms 119
Topic: THE RIGHT HEART BEFORE GOD
Speaker: Ven. Samuel Ole Naikumi
Lessons:
We have an opportunity for repentance. God is calling us back to Himself not with pride, not with performance, but with humility.

Jeremiah 18:1–11 reminds us that God is the Potter and we are the clay. He can reshape our lives when we turn from our wrong ways.

Luke 18:9–14 teaches us through the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector:

✓ God accepts honest acknowledgement of our sin.
✓ The tax collector depended on grace rather than his own performance.
✓ We must depend on God’s grace rather than our deeds.
✓ We can never come before God with pride.
✓ God is calling us to have the right attitude in prayer.

God desires:
✓ A heart open to Him.
✓ A heart empty of pride.
✓ A heart filled with His love.

Let us humble ourselves before the Lord. It is not about how good we appear, but how sincere we are before Him.

“God, be merciful to me, a sinner.” (Luke 18:13)
