Psalms 100:1-5
(A Psalm of Thanksgiving)
1. Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! 2. Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.3. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;[1] We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.4. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.5. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

Psalm 103:1-3 (Why we should be grateful)
David’s list of thanksgiving/reasons for thanksgiving:-
1. Remission (forgiveness) of sins
2. Restoration to health (recovery from sickness (healing)
3. Rescued from death (healing).
4. Replenishes our needs
5. Reconciliation with God

Why we fail to give thanks:-
1. Failing to count our blessings
2. Having greedy hearts
3. Taking every blessing for granted
4. Dwelling on missed opportunities rather than on achieved goals
5. Having an entitlement attitude -: I worked for it, I deserved it, etc
6. Comparing ourselves with others
7. Lack of spiritual maturity

We have every reason to be grateful to God for His loving kindness endures forever. May the name of the Lord be praised. Amen. 📓

[1]Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners,
or join in with mockers.
[2]But they delight in the law of the lord,
meditating on it day and night.
[3]They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do.
[4]But not the wicked!
They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
[5]They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
Sinners will have no place among the godly.
[6]For the lord watches over the path of the godly,
