Meditating on the story of Balaams donkey, and I asked myself a question , "if the donkey had an encounter with an angel of the Lord, and spoke, what of the believer who is expectant for more"?

Tonight is the night of encounter,we've had alot of moments in his presence, but tonight's meeting will initiate a Movement.
Divinity is marrying humanity the Spirit of God will author A GREAT MOVEMENT.

22:27 When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat it with his staff. 28 Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?” 29 Balaam answered the donkey, “You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.” 30 The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you?”
“No,” he said. 31 Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown.

Verse of the Day
1 John 4:19
We love because he first loved us.
Commentary
As human beings, we like to think of ourselves as the center of our universe. We determine the greatness or validity of most deeds based on their impact upon us. We consider ourselves great adventurers, inventors, and investigators. However, in the most important quest of all, we did not act first; God did. He loved us sacrificially. He loved us personally. He loved us first. Our love is a response to his grace. Our love is simply sharing with others what has been lavished upon us. We love because he loved us first.
Prayer
Almighty God and Abba Father, over these last several days I have tried to understand your love for me and my fellow humans. I don't profess to understand your love, but I do know that you have blessed me with it in ways I could not have imagined. So please, dear Father, help me remember your great love for me when I am faced with temptation, led to doubt your love, or wonder about my worthiness. I want your love to be reflected in my daily life. Thanks for loving mightily. Thanks for loving sacrificially. Most of all, thanks for loving first! In Jesus' name I thank you. Amen.Blessed Easter Holiday .

Happy New Year to you all

19/03/2018

Here is your word for today:

Verse: Psalm 40:5

'O LORD my God, You have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list.'

- When we look back at God's faithfulness, we all have something to give thanks for.
- Remember, for a moment, what He has done for you, and give thanks!
- His faithfulness reaches into the past and carries us into the future.
- His plans for your tomorrow include a future and a hope in Him.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for all the wonderful things you have done. I rejoice in Your faithfulness and I look forward with expectation to things You have prepared for me. Amen.

Have a great week.
