For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him(2Cor.5:21)

The Power of The Cross!
'Who knew no sin' [Jesus had to be sinless]- The sacrifice must be made by one who was without spot or blemish - like the lambs slain on the night of plague in Egypt (Ex.12)
He was made sin FOR US - He took our place, as a SUBSTITUTE.

>His nails were meant for you.
>The crown of thorns should have been on your head.
>The humiliation, insults and shame were for you.
>The spear should have pierced on your side.
It should have been you hanging on a tree - BUT IT WASN'T. It was Jesus dying in your place - as a substitute and recepient of God's judgement against sin...That you might become righteous.
What a demonstration of Love from our Savior. Forever we're indebted.
THANK YOU! Happy Easter

...The effective, fervent prayer of the righteous man avails much[James 5:16NKJV].

Prayer changes things!
There is an exceeding great power available to us who believe(Eph.1:19). That power is already in your spirit. However, no power in your spirit will change anything about your life here and now unless you activate and release it through prayer..and fasting. We read in Luke 4:1 "Jesus being filled with the Holy Spirit returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.." we know He fasted for 40 days and night.
Note Vs.14 "Then Jesus returned in the POWER of the Spirit."...the power inside of Him after being filled with the Holy Spirit was released after prayer and fasting. What was the result..."and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region"
If you dare to pray a heartfelt, continued prayer with fasting - tremendous power will be made available in the ministry, family, health, finances and in your warfare.

It is God who arms me with strength and keep my way secure (Ps.18:32NIV)

Despite of our weakness and insufficiency, our God is All sufficient. Someone said, "see your weakness as empty" cups" waiting to be filled by the Lord's power."
You don't have to face anything alone, because the flow of God's abundance strength will never run out.
May God equip you with His supernatural strength and grace to accomplish all that He has called you to do!!

So the children of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side (Exo.14:22)

The Israelites had done exactly what God told them to do, they followed His instructions [Ex.14:2-3]. Still they were caught in-between the powerful Egyptian army and the impassable sea. There seemed to be no way to escape. Have you ever been in a dilemma and you've done everything humanly possible to fix the situation? Then know you're not alone! The same God who divided the Red Sea so the Israelites could cross on dry ground is the same God! You may be facing your own Egyptians and Red Sea situations, BUT trust in God. Your limitations cannot stop God's Power. He Will Make Away!

....let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us(Heb.12:1)

In order to go higher and achieve greater things, you must be willing to give up certain things - even good things.
You must recognize you can't do everything! Because of our fast paced society people tend to multi-task. According to researchers, shifting from task to task can cost you up to 40% efficiency. You will get more done focusing on one task at a time.
David said, "One thing i have desired of the Lord, that will i seek" [Ps.27:4].
Do you have your "one thing"? What are you willing to give up to go higher? Not only giving up sin, it may include giving up some relationships too.

...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling[Phil.2:12NKJV]

Note! Paul did not say, "work for your own salvation" - To work for something means to earn it or you deserve it; the Bible teaches us that salvation isn't something we have to earn or work for, but a free gift from God, given by His grace - [Eph.2:8-9].
What Paul is saying is; work hard to show the results of your salvation; Like a physical "workout" - when we exercise, we develop the spiritual muscles God has already created in us. So develop your spiritual life.
How; There's God's part and our part. First God gives the eagerness to please Him; Our part is to recognise that feeling and choose to act on it. Then He provides the power; Our part is to access that power by plugging for the power to flow through our lives. The "plugging" is by spending time with God praying and fasting, reading His Word and sharpening and strengthening each other through fellowship and exercising the gifts God has given us.
Are you working hard to show the results of your salvation or people cannot tell the difference between when you were not saved and now that you have been saved. Continue with the workouts!

....but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak not to please man, but to please God who test our hearts(1Thes.2:4)

Learn to set boundaries! There are times when it's good to say yes, and there are times when it's best to say no.
Even Jesus set boundaries and didn't allow His boundaries to be moved. Example...when He shared with His disciples that He had to go to Jerusalem, suffer and be crucified. Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him..(Matt.16:21-23). What did Jesus reply to Peter.. "Get behind me satan! You are a stumbling block to me.."
Some people can be inspired by satan to stop God's agenda in your life. Christ had boundaries and said no to Peter's agenda.
Simply because you're a believer doesn't mean you always allow others to have their way or fear to make anyone angry - look straight to their eyes and say NO!
Live for an audience of one - Jesus! He is the one we need to seek to please.

Whoever does these things will never be shaken [Ps. 15:5NIV]

King David in psalm 15 gave us eight traits to look for in a leader worthy of respect.
1. They have integrity ~ vs.2
2. They don't take part in gossip ~vs.3
3. They don't harm others ~vs.3
4. They speak up against wrong ~vs.3
5. They honor those who walk in the truth ~vs.4
6. They keep their promise, even at personal cost ~vs.4
7. They're not greedy to profit at the expense of others ~vs.5
8. They're strong and stable ~vs.5
David concludes by saying - those who do these things - 'will never be shaken' - meaning their leadership is protected.
Go through the eight traits and ask God to help you improve where you need to.
Are you a leader worthy of respect?

....you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death or obedience leading to righteousness(Rom.6:16)

The person or thing that you obey is your master. Whether something like alcohol, drugs, po*******hy, betting or something seemingly less damaging like spending alot of time on social media, or shopping. Even good things can hurt us - like a strong work ethic in your job or ministry can lead to neglecting family and friends.
We usually start out believing we're in control of it, and end up realizing we have been trapped.
Paul say you can obey sin, which brings spiritual death or obey God, which makes you right with God.
If something has the potential to trap us, you need to step away from it now. And if we're already feeling trapped, let not lose hope - let's turn to Jesus He will deliver us.

And raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph.2:6)

"sit together" is a legal term "joint sitting" that means Jesus' authority has been extended to us; we're using the same authority with Him. Thus everything Jesus utters or decide include us, and everything we utter and decide include Him. And since our joint sitting isn't earthly; it's heavenly, we're his legal representatives on the earth.
What we allow on the earth is allowed and endorsed in heaven. What we forbid on the earth is forbidden in heaven(Matt.16:19). This is hugely profound.
This means you can take a stand based on God's word and effect a change in your physical body, in your job or business, in your family, Church and in your world.
Use your authority in Christ to occupy your place of assignment. Remember you're seated with Him in a position of authority above all principalities, and power, might and dominion.
Rule from a position of authority.

Through whom we have access by faith into this grace we stand..(Rom.5:2)

During biblical times, no one could just walk right up to a king. Even his advisors nor his most cherished wife would have to be invited to address the king. Check the book of Esther. If that was the case with earthly kings, what of our heavenly king?
Good News!! God has granted us believers the privilege of accessing His throne any time from anywhere to fellowship with Him, bring our concerns and to talk to Him.
Make use of your privileged access for only a few and approach your king on matters of the kingdom, your Judge, on matters of justice , and your Father for fellowship.
