Shalom brethren!
The reading is from the book of Romans 10:1--11. The topic is: *Salvation is the greatest miracle on earth.*
The sole purpose of Jesus' coming on earth was to bring salvation.
This should be our central focus in all we undertake in and for the church. Salvation is being born again. Jesus told Nicodemus that unless one is born again he will not enter the kingdom of God. Salvation enjoins one to God's royal family, in which one becomes a son. All promises God has for humanity can only be realised after one acquires kingdom citizenship through being born again. There is only one way to be in the *right relationship with the Father*- that is through His Son Jesus (John 14:6). He came to pay for our sins, in order to bring us into the correct relationship with the Father. This is the only gate way to the abundant life. Majority of us seem zealous for God but like the Israelites we are missing on *right/correct* relationship with our Father in heaven.(Rom.10: 1-2) That's why His manifest Presence is now very rare. Our prayers seem not to bear much fruit like before.
God's blessings are for those who belong to Him. We need to re-evaluate our connectivity with Jesus Christ.
Much preaching without leading people to receive Jesus is a waste of time. The Bible says Jesus came to His own but only those who received Him were given the right to become the children of God.
Let us strive to lead people to Christ. This is the reason He came to us.
The book of the week is 1 Corinthians. The theme of the week is leading people to Christ. The verse of the week is Romans 10:2.

Shàlom brethren;
Our reading is from the book of 2nd Chronicles 16:1-14.
Topic: *There's a nature in man that always makes him want to be independent of God*.
In this scriptures, King Asa of Judah panicked when king Baasha of Israel came against him. So Asa paid the King of Syria to support him in the war.
This angered God who send His prophet to unleash a bombshell to King Asa. *"for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him* verse 9.
I would like you to imagine with me how God is forever searching on earth for hearts which are loyal to Him.
Loyalty to God means:
Trusting in Him, Depending on Him at all costs.
Relying on Him.
Leaning on Him.
Fear Him.
Honour Him.
To all of us, God has in one way or another, demonstrated how reliable He is. The bible is full of testimonies how God helped His people during times of great needs.
King Asa had been greatly assisted by God to defeat the great Ethiopian invasion. God had given him peace and prospered the land. But the King switched his loyalty off God that even when he became sick he did not seek God's healing and instead he relied fully on physicians ; he died.
We have to keep remembering we serve a God who is all knowing, omnipresent and that everything is possible to Him. At the same time, He is a jealous God. Unless we be loyal to Him, He will not be there for us.
The book of the week is John. The theme of the week is stiring our loyalty to our God. The verse of the week is 2nd Chronicles 16:9.

Shalom brethren;
Our reading is from the book of 2 Chronicles 6:1-42
*Topic: The house of God*
King Solomon built the first house on earth for our God who is in heaven.
It was the house of the Lord.
It was a house where God's name was to be. All these centuries since the first building was set up for God up to now, the purpose for God's house remains the same.
It was to be the house of the most high God. A holy place, set apart from the rest of the world. A place where religious ordinances, functions, and covenants can be made. This is a place we worship our God. This is a place we take our sacrifices. We come to the house of the Lord to meditate and pray. This is where good news is preached to the lost. This is a training camp for the Lord's army of salvation. It's a place where our God receives His highest honour. It's a place where we expect His manifestations of His mercies, His love, His healings and all that God has for His people.
Our Lord Jesus referred to it as 'my father's house'. No wonder satan targeted the church so much during Corona period through world leaders. They will certainly give account for the same before God.
We should develop a culture of true honour to our God by how we handle ourselves in God's houses.
The book of the week is Ezekiel. The theme of the week is honouring God's places of worship. The verse of the week is 2 Chronicles 6:2.
