Rastafari Movement Africa.

Rastafari Movement Africa. Members of the Rastafari movement are known as Rastas, or Rastafari. Rastafari is not a highly organized religion; it is a movement and an ideology.

The Rastafari movement or Rasta is a new religious movement that arose in the 1930s in Jamaica, which at the time was a country with a predominantly Christian culture where 98% of the people were the black descendants of slaves.[1][2] Its adherents worship Haile Selassie I, Emperor of Ethiopia (ruled 1930–1974), as God incarnate, the Second Advent, or the reincarnation of Jesus. The movement is so

metimes referred to as "Rastafarianism", but this term is considered derogatory and offensive by some Rastas, who, being highly critical of isms which they see as a typical part of Babylon culture, dislike being labelled as an "ism" themselves.[3]

The Rastafari movement encompasses themes such as the spiritual use of cannabis[4][5] and the rejection of western society, called Babylon (from the metaphorical Babylon of the Christian New Testament). It proclaims Africa (also "Zion") as the original birthplace of mankind, and from the beginning of the movement the call to repatriation to Africa has been a central theme.[6] Rasta also embraces various Afrocentric and Pan-African social and political aspirations,[4][7] such as the sociopolitical views and teachings of Jamaican publicist, organizer, and black nationalist Marcus Garvey (also often regarded as a prophet). Another theme is Royalty, with Rastas seeing themselves as African royalty and using honorifics such as Prince or King in order to give royalty to their names. Many Rastas say that it is not a "religion" at all, but a "Way of Life".[8] Many Rastas do not claim any sect or denomination, and thus encourage one another to find faith and inspiration within themselves, although some do identify strongly with one of the "mansions of Rastafari" — the three most prominent of these being the Nyahbinghi, the Bobo Ashanti and the Twelve Tribes of Israel. The name Rastafari is taken from Ras Tafari, the pre-regnal title of Haile Selassie I, composed of Amharic Ras (literally "Head", an Ethiopian title equivalent to Duke), and Haile Selassie's pre-regnal given name, Tafari. Rastafari are generally distinguished for asserting the doctrine that Haile Selassie I, the former and final Emperor of Ethiopia, is another incarnation of the Christian God, called Jah.[9] Most see Haile Selassie I as Jah or Jah Rastafari, who is the second coming of Jesus Christ onto the Earth, but to others he is simply God's chosen king on earth. Today, awareness of the Rastafari movement has spread throughout much of the world, largely through interest generated by reggae music, a notable exponent of which was Jamaican singer/songwriter Bob Marley (1945–1981). By 1997, there were around one million Rastafari faithful worldwide.[10] In the 2001 Jamaican census, 24,020 individuals (less than 1 percent of the population) identified themselves as Rastafarians.[11] Other sources have estimated that in the 2000s they formed "about 5 percent of the population" of Jamaica,[12] or have conjectured that "there are perhaps as many as 100,000 Rastafarians in Jamaica".[13]

Ever Thankful for the Clairity and Understanding brought about by the Observation of This Holy and Righteous King of Kings and Rightful Heir & Emperor, whom is 225th lineal descendant of Xristos Yeshua and Final, in a continuing Monarchy of nearly 3000 years, to sit upon the Christian Throne of a Converted Judaic Kingdom .
Present day “Israel “ has never completed that path , and the Kingdom which Has , is featured repeatedly, in Biblical Text , the Name Ethiopia , Aprox 20 times and the Ancient Name Cush about 40 - 60 depending of translation and canon.

Haile Selassie is the Parity bit that defines the True Image of Christ in the Modern Era , and as so aptly observed by the prophetic reasoning of Early adherents, whom believe this is the Conquering Lion of Judah , whom is seen fit to break the 7 seals (Rev 5:5) This may have been the First Trumpet , and May as well Be the Last .

In this era of false hood , false teachings, false prophecy, in this era of Darkness , there is an illuminated directional beacon for the sojourner…. There is an example, of application, of the Great Command (Matt 22:36-40) as negotiated by a World Leader , on the World Stage , whom not only attends church , whom not only leads , a World Church as defender of the Faith , whom has not only studied the Word , but was raised in a kingdom , in which each respective King was to fully and completely understand the Ethiopic Role within the Biblical fulfillment of its Promise and Purpose.

In this Kingdom , the Bible is not a part of the Picture, It is the Whole of the Picture. The acceptance of what this Picture in Fullness , should be seen be of Joy , and Comfort , as is aligns perfectly…. And if this picture, causes consternation, one should look deeply within and ask why .

1.9 Peace...has become even more necessary to mankind than ever before. The alternatives confronting the governments of today are no longer peace or war, but peace or the annihilation and complete doom of mankind.
1.10 It has now become the noble responsibility of Christians and peoples of other faiths and their leaders throughout the world to pray and to work hard for the preservation of world peace.
