Hallo people, am so grateful to have you here at this gospel of truth group. Whenever we share the word of God, our hearts are encouraged and we became people who can go through any situation in life. As we saw about the wisdom that is dragging us far away from God brings pain, misery, condemnation and any other of the sort.

Today I want us to look at something in the Bible and please open with me in the book of Mark 5:30-34.

Here we have this woman who had a flow of the blood for many years. 12yrs was not a simple thing. A child of that age is a big one. Why 12yrs is recorded in this story? This is the actual time she suffered.
“and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭5:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When this woman had all her wealth, she could not listen to anyone. All she did was to follow her own thoughts and this led her spending everything that she had. She had high hope that if she met with one doctor everything gonna be alright but now she is meeting with not one not two, three four but she suffered many things from many physicians.

This is our condition and our hearts can be clearly seen here. We are people who trust in what we have, what we can do, who we are connected with but in real times of need this will not help us. I thank God because he brought this condition on this woman so she can receive grace. After many physicians she had about Jesus. This is a time when she had no one, no physician no many nothing else to sell. This was the right time to listen to Jesus.

In Luke 15 we have the story of the prodigal son. When he had a heart of trusting in himself he left the father but one thing he didn't know for sure is that pigpen was his final destination. If you could have told him about it, he couldn't believe. When did he go back to the father? When he lost everything at this point he could repent his heart and go back.
As long as we can listen and trust our thoughts, we cannot meet with God but only Situation and difficulties. Allow Christ to lead your heart and you will leave a happy and blessed life.

Hallo Church Family. I want to share this devotional with you this morning.

We have two types of fishermen in the Bible.
When Jesus Christ call the apostles He called the with a promise that he will make the fishers of men.

Yes, when we look 👀 at Peter’s life, he did catch men. This is clearly recorded in the book 📚 📖 of Acts.

In his first sermon 3000 people came to Jesus.

The truth is that Peter was fishing according to God’s instructions. He only followed God’s guidance and did not follow his own thoughts.

Today fishing is full of humanistic ways, that’s why there is no good results in our Christian walk.

So God is fishing 🎣🎣 your soul, through the cross ✝️ of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:14-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And the Satan is also fishing your soul.
How is he doing it. With a hook baited with the things of the world.
“and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.”
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭2:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

He uses three :-
1- Lust of the flesh.
2- Lust of the eyes 👀
3- Pride of life. 1st John 2:16

He tried Adam and Eve with this in Genesis 3, they fell into sin.

He tried Jesus in Matthew 4 and He won.

Genesis 12:7; And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.
GOD DOES NOT WORK BY FEW OR MANY BUT THROUGH HIS WORD OF PROMISE FOR THE SAKE OF HIS NAME AND GLORY.

Hallo everyone, I would like to share with you my devotional this morning and I trust that we will all be blessed and that the joy of the Lord will fill our hearts even in this time.

As you listen to people speaking, all they can see is the hard, difficulty, crazy, unbearable, tormenting times now present and ahead of them.

As I think of this, one thing rest assured that the answer is in the word of God.

It’s true as you can see the situation as per now, but what does the Bible say?

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭10:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God gives us a promise, no temptation has overtaken you. The season might look difficult but it has not overtaken us. COVID 19 might be scaring but it has not overtaken us.

God is faithful.
Faithful to preserve and protect His people, and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able.
Yes as we social distance, avoiding handshake, hugs and hand washing, people of God we can overtake COVID 19.

As He has also declared to us that He will make away of escape. Dear Church Family observe the directive given by our doctors and the government and soon all this will be over.

God will make a way for us.
