Exodus 14:14 says that God will fight for you and that you are called to be still.
That sounds simple, but it is often the hardest part. When life feels heavy, being still can feel impossible. Our instinct is to fix things, to push harder, or to exhaust ourselves trying to control outcomes we were never meant to manage. We equate movement with faith and effort with obedience. Yet this verse gently interrupts that pattern and reminds us that trust matters more than effort. Sometimes faith looks like letting go, stepping back, and allowing God to carry what you were never meant to hold.
You are not falling behind. You are not failing by resting. You are not weak for trusting. You are being faithful. And God is fighting for you even when you cannot see it yet.
Romans 8:31
If God is for us who can be against us.

When you feel weak, God's strength is your anchor 💪. This scripture reminds us that even when we crumble, God's strength holds us. Like a ship anchored in a storm, we stand firm in Him.

Surrender your weaknesses to Him. He's the anchor. Practical steps:

2. Declare His strength over your life
3. Trust Him in tough times

And this is the confidence that we have in him: If we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have made to him.
5:14-15 Because believers have eternal life they can have confidence in coming into God’s presence (compare Rom 5:2; Eph 2:18; 3:12; Heb 4:16; 10:19-22). Our confidence is this: God will answer all prayers if they are according to His will, and He will give us what we ask. Asking God according to our own will is a different matter. We should not expect Him to answer such prayers. Matt 6:10 gives what should always be the chief concern of every believer. But how do we know what God’s will is? The whole Bible reveals it. If we are ignorant of the Bible we will not know God’s will. But if we study it we can see what He wants to give us in answer to our believing prayer (compare Jam 1:6-7).
