WHAT A BLESSED AND MEMORABLE SUNDAY WE HAD AT KERINGET AFRICA GOSPEL CHURCH!!

We thank God for a successful Bridgers (Ex-Form 4s) Graduation as we celebrated and prayed for our young people as they transition into the next season of life.

The congregation was also led into God's presence through a wonderful worship session, followed by a touching message from our Assistant Pastor, Pr. Zadock Kigen, based on John 13:34–35 on the theme "Loving One Another."

He reminded us that love is not optional—it is Christ's command. Our love for one another is the evidence that we belong to Jesus. True Christian love goes beyond words; it reflects Christ's character through forgiveness, service, kindness, and compassion.

The service was further enriched by a beautiful offertory presentation from the Church Choir with the Swahili song "Bwana asema, njooni kwangu nyote, msumbukao na kulemewa" (Come to Me all who are weary), which ministered powerfully to the congregation.

After the second service, our TEE classes continued as believers gathered to grow deeper in God's Word.

We thank God for His faithfulness and everyone who worshipped with us.

Theme: Loving One Another
Scripture: John 13:34–35

Jesus gave His disciples a new commandment: "Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."

From today's lesson, we learned:

❤️ Love is not optional—it is a command from Christ that every believer is called to obey.

❤️ We learn to love by following the example of Jesus, who loved us sacrificially and unconditionally.

❤️ Our love for one another is our Christian identity. Jesus said the world will know we are His disciples by the love we have for each other.

True Christian love is more than kindness or affection. It is a daily reflection of Christ's character through our words, actions, forgiveness, service, and care for others.

Reflection:
"Is my life showing the love of Christ to my family, my church, and my community?"
May we be known not only for what we believe, but also for how deeply we love.

📖 Matthew 22:36–40

A tree stands strong because of its deep roots. In the same way, our Christian life remains strong when we are deeply rooted in Christ.

Jesus taught that the greatest commandment is to:
❤️ Love God completely with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
🤝 Love others sacrificially—your family, church members, strangers, difficult people, and even your enemies.
✨ Live a life of love, because every act of worship, service, and obedience finds its true meaning in love.

This week, let us intentionally:
• Spend time with God daily.
• Forgive those who have hurt us.
• Speak with kindness.
• Serve others without seeking recognition.
• Pray for those who are difficult to love.

"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." — John 13:35

May we be a church deeply rooted in Christ, growing in love, serving faithfully, and shining as His witnesses.
