Pls listen, you got angry in church and you stopped being the member of the choir. You left ushering, you stopped sanctuary cleaning and every other work you were doing in church. Eventually, you stopped going to church, simply because someone spoke to you in a way you did not like.
Most of the messages from the pulpit was against you in your opinion. Nobody called you when you were sick nor visit, so according to you that church neither love nor care.
But excuse me, you have not stopped working for the boss who insults you every day at work. Neither have you quit your job because of your colleagues speaks ill of you, i guess the money is the reason.
When you were sick, you did not wait for your boss to call you or to look for you at work. Rather, you called and told him about your present condition, because you were scared he may fire you.
Do you remember that at school, both primary and secondary, people insulted you, your teachers, your colleagues and classmates, they offended you, but you did not stop schooling. But in church, when people offend you, you get angry and leave the church.
You can easily miss church, but not lecture, because you knows that the lecturer will take attendance which counts as your continuous assessment. You can be late with your appointment with God in church, but you will be extra hour early for your visa interview at the embassy.
Who is deceiving who? Pls listen, the church is not an no offence zone. It's not a place where you will never be offended. Maybe you do not know or you don't have enough revelation about what church is. According to scripture, the church is the house of God, it's the gateway of Heaven (Gen 28:7)
So your charisma can take you there, but your spiritualist and salvation is what will determine whether you will enter Heaven or not. Your service to God must be with reverential fear, honor and respect.
