Today’s midweek service at PCEA Upendo was a deeply enriching and spirit-filled gathering, led by Rev. Nahashon Thuo alongside Evangelist Elder Peter Mwai, Session Clerk Elder Wachira, the Elders of PCEA Upendo, and visiting Elder Mwathi. The service was further graced by Rev. Mundia, who conducted a solemn and meaningful confirmation and baptism ceremony, reminding us of the beauty of new life in Christ.
Drawing from Acts 3:1–10, the message of the day, “God the Beautifier,” profoundly resonated with the congregation. We reflected on Peter and John as beautiful people, journeying to a beautiful place—the temple—for a beautiful purpose: prayer. In this, we were reminded that true beauty lies not in outward appearances but in a life aligned with God’s purpose. Indeed, God does far more than meet our material needs; He restores, transforms, and renews us wholly—physically and spiritually—making Him the ultimate Beautifier of our lives.
The service culminated in the sacred act of Holy Communion, led by Rev. Nahashon, echoing Christ’s own sharing with His disciples. It was a powerful moment of unity, reflection, and grace. Truly, it was a service that reaffirmed faith, inspired transformation, and reminded us of the divine beauty found in walking with God.
