SPIRITUAL NEGLIGENCE
2Ch 29:11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.
The opening verse was spoken to the Levites. A Levite means God’s chosen or one who is set apart for God, yet they were given a wake up call. Christian is time also to awake from slumber. Rom 13:11 This is necessary because you know the times—it’s already time for you to wake up from sleep, because our salvation is nearer now than when we became believers.
Its about time for all Christian around the world to awake to this reality, Joh 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
Those people who sleep, sleep at the night, its amazing that that Christians are sleeping at the day. 1Th 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
PRAYER
Our father who art on heaven awaken my first love.
