In the last 2 days the water shortage also hit me in Nairobi . I had to implement drastic measures to conserve water. It made me realise the kind of suffering being faced in counties of Kenya which have become completely dry. Please pray for the country of Kenya and East Africa Region

Celebrate Giving...
UMC is Nov. 29

In less than two weeks, you can be part of United Methodists' biggest annual outpouring of generosity - UMC , Nov. 29.

When you give through The Advance, you don't just give money. You give light. You give love. You give life. And you know exactly where your generosity is going: 100 percent of the money you give through The Advance goes to the missionary or project you choose to support.

Where do you want to make a difference? Education? Evangelization? Health care? Alleviating poverty? Social justice? Wherever your heart points you, The Advance can connect you with projects and missionaries who need your help bringing light, love, and life to every corner of the world.

Now would be a good time to visit umcmission.org/give and check out the amazing opportunities that The Advance offers. More than 300 missionaries and more than 800 projects. And every dollar you give goes directly to the recipient(s) you select.

Giving isn't a chore. Giving is a celebration! It completes your appreciation and even your enjoyment of the blessings that you have been given. We look forward to seeing how God uses your generosity and the generosity of thousands of United Methodists on UMC .

If you know The Advance ministry or project name, please enter it here. You can also search for words in the title, description, area, or country in which it exists.

Consider how many trees have you cut in your lifetime , and how many have you planted .We are ignorantly commiting murder and robbing future generations of their resources when we pollute the air and environment .Its high time we also do our own part in reducing our carbon emissions and engage in sustainable lifestyles in society ............those were some of the words i shared with Ehnes Memorial Church , in Zimbabwe , my home church , during sunday school on 23 October 2016 .....lets save our planet by playing our part as good stewards and God will delight . Time for action on climate justice is NOW .

Climate and environmental justice is a strong developing pillar of the church"s mission which should be embraced.
