The Lord's Day — a day of rest and gladness, a day of joy and light, a balm of care and sadness. On the very day of the week that the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead, Christians gather to worship Him.
Every Sunday, the saints at Providence Baptist join the redeemed throughout the world and, with the host of heaven, offer praise to the Triune God. We are deeply grateful for this weekly assembly, where the Lord graciously nourishes His flock through the ordinary means of grace, feeding us with the bread that comes from the mouth of God.
The Scriptures are read, sung, prayed, taught, preached, and discussed, all for the building up of the church and to the glory of God.
