BIG SECRETS IN MARRIAGE!

Secret 1

Everyone you marry has a weakness. Only God does not have a weakness. So if you focus on your spouse's weakness you can't get the best out of his strength.

Secret 2

Everyone has a dark history. No one is an angel. When you get married or you want to get married stop digging into someone's past. What matters most is the present life of your partner. Old things have passed away. Forgive and forget. Focus on the present and the future.

Secret 3

Every marriage has its own challenges. Marriage is not a bed of roses. Every good marriage has gone through its own test of blazing fire. True love proves in times of challenges. Fight for your marriage. Make up your mind to stay with your spouse in times of need. Remember the vow For better for worse. In sickness and in health be there.

Secret 4

Every marriage has different levels of success. Don't compare your marriage with any one else. We can never be equal. Some will be far, some behind. To avoid marriage stresses, be patient, work hard and with time your marriage dreams shall come true.

There is no perfect marriage. There is no ready made marriage. Marriage is hard work. Volunteer yourself to work daily on it. Marriage is like a car that needs proper maintenance and proper service. If this is not done it will break down somewhere exposing the owner to danger or some unhealthy circumstances. Let us not be careless about our marriages.

Secret 7

God cannot give you a complete person you desire. He gives you the person in the form of raw materials in order for you to mould the person that you desire. This can only be achieved through prayer, love and Patience

Getting married is taking a huge risk. You can not predict what will happen in the future. Situations may change so leave room for adjustments. Husband can lose his good job or you may fail to have babies. All these require you to be prayerful otherwise you might divorce.

Secret 9

Marriage is not a contract. It is permanent. It needs total commitment. Love is the glue that sticks the couple together. Divorce start in the mind and the devil feeds the mind. Never ever entertain thoughts of getting a divorce. Never threaten your spouse with divorce. Choose to remain married. God hates divorce.

Secret 10

Every marriage has a price to pay. Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money that you deposit that you withdraw. If you don't deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate for a blissful home.

*The Impossible Things*

"And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Luke 18:27"

A rich young man came to Jesus Christ to ask what he could do to inherit eternal life. Jesus started by telling him to obey the commandments. The rich young ruler replied that he had been obeying the commandments since his youth. Jesus Christ ended by saying that he should go and sell all that he had and give to the poor, and he would have treasure in heaven; thereafter he should come and follow him. The rich young ruler went home sorrowful - he could not let go of his possession to follow Jesus. Jesus said to His disciples that it is hard for those who are rich to enter the kingdom of God. Furthermore, He added that it easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. The audience were shocked and asked, "Who then can be saved?" Jesus then quoted the opening scripture to them. Jesus explained to them that even though it is hard for the rich to enter the kingdom, it is not impossible because God is capable of making some of them enter. Those who can enter are those who do not trust in their riches but trust God for their riches. Dearly beloved, no situation is impossible with God, with men it is impossible but not with God. Trust God for the impossible, praise the Lord!

"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Psalms 103:2"

The soul consists of the mind, will, and emotions; the seat of the soul is the mind. The Psalmist is sharing his secret with other believers: speaking to the inward man, the soul, to bless the LORD. Why should we speak to the soul to bless God? The soul will forget when we do not tell it to bless the Lord. The soul is weak and needs awakening by our speaking to it. Sometimes you hear certain Christians complaining frequently; this is a sign that their soul is too weak to remember all the benefits they have enjoyed with the LORD. If they can only speak to their soul like the Psalmist in our opening scripture, they will begin to see everything that the Lord Jesus has done for them.

1cor13:11
"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11"

📖: The Bible has clearly told us the difference between a child and an adult or mature person. Children speak first of all, before trying to understand what they have said, then think through what they have uttered.

Adults/mature people, on the other hand, will think through what they are about to say, understand it, and then finally speak their thoughts. This explains why children make a lot of mistakes and like making unnecessary noise. The scripture says that sin is not absent in a multitude of words but that he who restrains his lips is wise, Proverbs 10:19. Maturity lies in the ability to control one's thoughts and choose carefully before acting on them. A man or woman who has not put away childish things cannot go far in life, cannot achieve much, and will most likely be treated like a child. It is easy for a child of God to grow into maturity by meditating on the Word and obeying the Word.
