Life is full of happiness and tears; be strong and have faith.
I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude, if you're grateful, you'll see God open up new doors.
Keep your dreams alive.
Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication.
Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.
Remember all things are possible for those who believe.

Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.

I believe that a trusting attitude and a patient attitude go hand in hand. You see, when you let go and learn to trust God, it releases joy in your life. And when you trust God, you're able to be more patient. Patience is not just about waiting for something... it's about how you wait, or your attitude while waiting.

Despite for Jonah to fulfill the will of God by taking His message, Jonah got up and went to the opposite direction to get away from the lord. He went down to the port of Joppa where he found a ship leaving for Tarshish.
This is very interesting that the man who carry”s the judgment message to Nineveh is now facing another judgment on him from the Lord as a result of violating his command.
He bought a ticket and went on board hoping to get away from the Lord by sailing to Tarshish.
“But the Lord hurled a powerful wind over the sea, causing a violent storm that threatened to break the ship apart. But all this time Jonah was sound asleep down in the hold.
So the captain went down after him.” How can you sleep at a time like this?” he shouted” Get up and pray to your god! Maybe he will pay attention to us and spare our lives.”(Jonah 1:3-4)

An act of one single person caused havoc on everyone on board.
This is how sin destroyeth nations ,family, church.
Initially Jonah had his reasons for not proceeding to city of Nineveh, the city was powerful and wicked Jonah had grown up hating the Assyrians and fearing their atrocities.
His hatred was so strong that he did not want them to receive Gods mercy.
He wanted them destroyed of the wrath of God and he knew for sure that they would have repented their sins and received the mercies of God.
He commited sin not to deliver the message, and now the fresh judgment was also released on him.
plus everything,and everyone on board was affected.

One might find him or herself in terrible situation as Jonah did. But its good to search within yourself as the men deed in the ship where Jonah boarded.

“Why has this awful storm come down on us? ” they demanded “ Who are you? What is your line of work? What country are you from? What is your nationality?

Jonah answered “I am a Hebrew,and I worship the lord ,the God of Heaven who made the sea and the land.”
The sailor were terrified when they heard this , for he had already told them that he was running away from the lord.” Oh why did you do it? They groaned. And since the storm was getting worse all the time, they asked him, ”What should we do to you to stop this storm?”
Throw me into the sea,” Jonah said,” and it will be calm again. I know that this terrible storm is all my fault.” (Jonah 1:8-12)
Jonah accepted the judgment and immediately he was thrown in to the sea the lord had sent the big fish to save his life.

It doesn’t matter the weight of the sin committed what matters is, if the person accepts the judgment and realize it is the lord fighting and causing havoc and storms on them and chose to lift the burden by accepting their sin.

Hallelujah! Jonah heading to Tarshis he was a completely sinner but when he aborted the journey he became a vessel of worship to the Almighty God offering glory to the lord. And the lord sent his servant(big fish) to take care of Jonah his valuable vessel.
NB: No matter where you will be dumped ,the lord will send his servant for you, just acknowledge His judgements.

SHE'S SUCH A SMART WIFE

This morning, she and her husband had a really bad argument. He came home after work still mad at her, why is she is so difficult to be with sometimes?

He walked in the house, ready for another fight....

He walked in and found her cooking his favourte meal: chapati with beef stew. Worship music was playing in the house...

"Hi honey" she greeted him...

"Hi" he said back...

He leaned on the kitchen wall expecting the argument to continue, she is a woman who speaks her mind...

But instead, she sang along to the worship song playing as she cooked...

"You had a good day?" She asked as she added oil in the pan...

"Why do you do this?" He asked...

"Do what?" She asked smiling...

He stared at her saying, "You make it so hard to stay mad at you"...

"It's not me, it's God" she answered...

"That explains the worship music. You surround the house with worship" he said...

She fed him a portion of the cooked chapati. He chewed...

"I learned the power of worship. Worship humbles both of us, it calms our spirit. I cannot stay mad at my husband when the presence of God fills our home. I cannot continue fights when God's peace lives in our home"...

She went back to the pan to cook some more "When you come home. You shouldn't come home to a wife whose face and tone is ready for war. You should come home to my face glowing because of God's glory. Worship keeps me in check"...

He moved to her, held her by the waist and kissed her neck then said, "Worship reminds me that I am loving God's daughter. Worship cuts off my ego because there can be no worship without humility and submission"...

She turned off the cooking heat and turned to face him, she giggled, "Look at us, just this morning we were shouting and mad, now you're holding me so close" she told him and kissed his lips...

"That's what happens when my wife is my fellow worshiper" he kissed her lips...

"A man who has submitted himself to God is so easy to love" she told him...

"You asked how my day was. I didn't have such a good day after that fight with you earlier today. But the day will end well with you"...

He knelt down beside her...

"What are you doing Honey? Asking me to be your wife, again?" She wondered...

He smiled and answered, "Every day I choose you to be my wife. I am kneeling down because I want to worship God, please join me"...

She knelt down next to him, his hand holding her, she said "Every day, I say yes to being your wife. Let's worship"...

"Sorry for shouting at you" she told him...

"Sorry for being difficult sometimes" he told her...

Him and the wife worshiped.

No marriage that is led by and anchored in God will fall, is your home/relationship full of the presence of God?
