Leadership and Power of Love (26/04/2026)

For one to lead, you must understand the reason for calling in leadership.
Leadership is not about title; it is about delivering the assignment.
David had a position but not a title.
When David appeared, no one could recognize him until he faced and conquered Goliath.
(Nehemiah 1:1–4) – Nehemiah was not a leader but understood the pain of the people.
(1 Samuel 17:50)
Leadership is about functionality (people).
People can exist without a leader, but:
It is not possible for a leader to exist without people.
Leadership is about understanding people.
Leadership requires openness to listening to people (feedback).
It is not possible to lead well without feedback.
(Matthew 16:13–16)
Know your identity.
Jesus knew His identity, but He wanted to know if people knew Him.
Know your leaders.
Leadership is bearing the burden of the people.
(1 Kings 19:14)
Leadership is the acceptance of responsibility for the challenges of people.

Signs of Bad Church Leadership
Superiority: Some people feel they are more superior than others.
Comparison: People live a life of comparison.
