What a blessed day at our Bible Clubs in Kibera! 🎉
We had the joy of hosting Mr. Jeff Johnson, president of International Needs, and his wife, Danette, as they visited two of our newest Bible clubs—Goshen Bible Club and Calvary Hope Bible Club. They came to see firsthand how our children are being taught, mentored, and raised in the love of God.

The children welcomed them with joyful songs and dances that lit up both centers! Our visitors even rolled up their sleeves to help serve lunch at Goshen and took time to sit with the children at both clubs, sharing words of encouragement and love.

We are so grateful for this visit and for every hand that continues to nurture these young hearts. The seeds planted today will bear fruit for generations to come. 🙏

🌍✨ Global Family, Local Impact! ✨🌍
This week we had the joy of hosting our friends from Bryan Storm Church, South Africa — here to see, learn, and build capacity around our programs! 🙌

From visiting our children in school 📚, to walking alongside us on home visits in Kibera 🏠, to praying with the young mothers of our Reclaim Program and our pastors 🙏 — it was a beautiful reminder that transformation is a team effort, and love truly has no borders.

Thank you for coming, for seeing, for praying, and for standing with us. Karibu tena! 💛

Mentorship in motion! 🙌📖
What a joy-filled day it was when our alumni came back home to spend time with the Bible Club children! From games and balls flying through the air to laughter, balloons, and big smiles all around, the energy was contagious.

It's always beautiful to watch former students return not just to visit, but to pour into the next generation. Mentorship like this reminds these children that someone who once sat where they sit now believes in their future enough to come back for them.
Grateful for every alumnus who showed up, every child who came ready to play and learn, and every moment of connection captured here. This is what community and discipleship look like in action. 💙

She lost everyone. Then she found her way back. 💛

In 2024, a teenage pregnancy cost Diana Makena, 19, everything — her siblings turned away, her mother sent her away, and the father of her child rejected her, too. Alone and desperate, she took on house-help work in Thika just to survive, gave birth, and kept going even when her employer left the country, and she was back to nothing.

Then someone told her about Homecare's RECLAIM Program.
It didn't start with school fees or a job. It started with healing — counselling sessions that helped Diana process her pain, find her voice, and eventually do something brave: go home and ask her mother for forgiveness.
Her mother said yes. 🙏

Today, Diana is back in school in Grade 11, scoring a B in her last exam. She still meets stigma at her daughter's daycare, but she's no longer shaken by it.

Diana now dreams of becoming a lawyer — to speak for young mothers just like her.This is what RECLAIM does: it doesn't just rebuild a future. It rebuilds a family.

👉 80 young mothers are reclaimed every year. 160 lives transformed in two years. Follow along as we walk this journey with them.

Every dream deserves a second chance.

At Reclaim, we walk alongside young mothers in Kibera as they rebuild confidence, heal from stigma, and rediscover their potential. Our journey begins with group therapy sessions like the one shown in this video, where participants are encouraged to release resentment, find their voice, and support one another in a safe community.

From there, they are equipped with soft and economic skills, mentorship, and networks that help them create brighter futures for themselves and their children.

Because when a young mother is empowered, an entire family—and community—can thrive.
