Enjoy the highlights from our bible study as we continue with the series Reparing the Altar. Today we focus on Iniquity, its meaning and its corelation with reparing the altar with reference to these scriptures:
Isaiah 59, Isaiah 60:21, Isaiah 61:1-5, Psalms 51:4, Ezekiel 18:24,
Exodus 20:5-6 : "You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands[b] of those who love me and keep my commandments."
And the first step toward reparing the altar is 2Timothy 2:19,
