Assalam Alikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatouh
my dears
Tonight I want to talk to those who find it hard to
pray sunnah prayers or what we call nawafil.
Some say, once I pray the fard I feel tired and
unable to pray sunnah and I get busy with other
things.
Others say, it is sunnah not fard so I am not
punished if I don’t do it.
Well, today I want to tell you the value of those
sunnahs you are missing every day.
It is true you will not be punished if you don’t do
them but they could be your savior from the
punishment that is waiting for you. Please read
this hadith Qudsi carefully
ﻋَﻦْ ﺃَﺑِﻲ ﻫُﺮَﻳْﺮَﺓَ ﺭَﺿِﻲَ ﺍﻟﻠﻪُ ﻋَﻨْﻪُ ﻗَﺎﻝَ : ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺭَﺳُﻮﻝُ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺻَﻠَّﻰ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻪِ
ﻭَﺳَﻠَّﻢَ :
" ﺇِﻥَّ ﺃَﻭَّﻝَ ﻣَﺎ ﻳُﺤَﺎﺳَﺐُ ﺑِﻪِ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺒْﺪُ ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﺍﻟْﻘِﻴَﺎﻣَﺔِ ﻣِﻦْ ﻋَﻤَﻠِﻪِ ﺻَﻠَﺎﺗُﻪُ. ﻓَﺈِﻥْ ﺻَﻠُﺤَﺖْ
ﻓَﻘَﺪْ ﺃَﻓْﻠَﺢَ ﻭَﺃَﻧْﺠَﺢَ، ﻭَﺇِﻥْ ﻓَﺴَﺪَﺕْ ﻓَﻘَﺪْ ﺧَﺎﺏَ ﻭَﺧَﺴِﺮَ، ﻓَﺈِﻥْ ﺍﻧْﺘَﻘَﺺَ ﻣِﻦْ ﻓَﺮِﻳﻀَﺘِﻪِ
ﺷَﻲْﺀٌ ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺏُّ ﻋَﺰَّ ﻭَﺟَﻞَّ : ﺍﻧْﻈُﺮُﻭﺍ ﻫَﻞْ ﻟِﻌَﺒْﺪِﻱ ﻣِﻦْ ﺗَﻄَﻮُّﻉٍ ﻓَﻴُﻜَﻤَّﻞَ ﺑِﻬَﺎ ﻣَﺎ
ﺍﻧْﺘَﻘَﺺَ ﻣِﻦْ ﺍﻟْﻔَﺮِﻳﻀَﺔِ، ﺛُﻢَّ ﻳَﻜُﻮﻥُ ﺳَﺎﺋِﺮُ ﻋَﻤَﻠِﻪِ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺫَﻟِﻚَ ".
ﺭﻭﺍﻩ ﺍﻟﺘﺮﻣﺬﻱ (1 ) ﻭﻛﺬﻟﻚ ﺃﺑﻮ ﺩﺍﻭﺩ ﻭﺍﻟﻨﺴﺎﺋﻲ ﻭﺍﺑﻦ ﻣﺎﺟﻪ ﻭﺃﺣﻤﺪ
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be
pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him), who said:
"Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says:
'The first of his actions for which a servant of
Allah will be held accountable on the Day of
Resurrection will be his prayers.' If they are in
order, then he will have prospered and succeeded;
and if they are wanting, then he will have failed
and lost. If there is something defective in his
obligatory prayers, the Lord (glorified and exalted
be He) will say: 'See if My servant has any
supererogatory prayers with which may be
completed that which was defective in his
obligatory prayers.' Then the rest of his actions
will be judged in like fashion."
[At-Tirmidhi (also by Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i, Ibn
Majah and Ahmad).]
Now…..who is sure that their obligatory prayers
are all right and accepted……how many times did
you pray fard and you were thinking of something
else?
I am sure the answer is many, many and many!!!
The sunnah prayers are a mercy from Allah SWT
to us. Allah could simply say these are sunnah
and they cannot cover the fard but instead he is
using them to cover the fard which you
defected…..how merciful is your lord?
So from today my dears, think twice before you
miss your sunnah prayers and know their value
on the Day of Judgment.

If a person goes out of his house and says:
"Bismillah, tawakkaltu ‘ala Allah, wa la hawla wa
la quwwata illa Billaah"
"In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah,
and there is no power and no strength except
with Allah,"
It is said to him: "You are guided, taken care of
and protected"
So the devil keeps away from him so much so
that another devil says:
"What can you do against a man who is guided,
taken care of and protected?"
(Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi)

A very poor woman with a small family called-in to a radio
station asking for help from Allah. A non-believer man who
was also listening to this radio program decided to make fun
of the woman. He got her address, called his secretary and
ordered her to buy a large amount of foodstuffs and take to
the woman. However, he sent it with the following instruction:
"When the woman asks who sent the food, tell her that its
from the devil.'' When the secretary arrived at the woman's
house, the woman was so happy and grateful for the help that
had been received. She started putting the food inside her
small house. The Secretary then asked her, ''Don't you want
to know who sent the food?'' The woman replied, ''No, I don't
even care because when Allah orders, even the devil obeys!

The Messenger of Allah ( pbuh ) said , “ Do not desert
( stop talking to ) one another, do not nurse hatred
towards one another , do not be jealous of one another ,
and become as fellow brothers and slaves of Allah. It
is not lawful for a Muslim to stop talking to his brother
( Muslim ) for more than three days . ” [ Bukhari and
Muslim ]

Point of discussion. ....

th issue of a wife working outside the home
can become a contentious one. This should preferably be
discussed before marriage. Also, if she does decide to
work and the husband agrees, does she want to
contribute a certain portion to household expenses or will
she keep all of the money for herself (which is her right)?
One of the ways to avoid arguments about money is to
simply make an easy budget which tracks expenses,
income, investments, and establishes a framework for
taking care of regular family necessities

We wake up every morning, to the same roof, same room,
drink the same kind of coffee, go to the same college, same
school, same job, with our complete health then complain
about how boring our life is.
They wake up every morning, to the same roof, same gray
hospital room, get the same shots, same medicine, they
can't go outside so they look from their windows, see you
walking so miserable, and th...ey look around them and
smile because they survived one more day..
So if you're bored next time, and complaining about how
boring life is, stop a second and think about them, all those
people fighting death, trying new treatment, hoping that one
day they can live your "boring" life.
Face your day with a smile, try to give hope and pray for
them, try to work hard enough to live the best day just like
it's the last one.... ALHAMDULILLAH Ala Kulli Haal.

Be4 you perform Salah.
Try disconnecting u a self from the world before you pray
Salah.
Put your phone aside, turn off your computer screen, put
the
book down and just sit there in utter silence for a minute ...

Wallahi this will help us develop Khushoo (humbleness,
tranquility, calmness and serenity) while you pray before
your Lord.
Don’t just pray, to get it out of the way.
