We are a Spirit-filled church adhering to Pentecostal theology. We believe in the dynamic presence of God through the Holy Spirit.

This faith emboldens a core value that we believe God can change anything and anyone as we gather together. This breeds a level of excitement that is contagious. Life Source is a multi-cultural church comprised of individuals representing over 30 different nations. You will find someone like you and many people different from you. We celebrate this diversity at LSC. Jesus said, “My house shall be

called a house of prayer for all nations” (Mark 11:17). This vital component brings a wonderful atmosphere of fellowship among the people. Ever wonder what heaven might be like? Check out the microcosm at one of the worship services. Church History

In the Spring of 1988 Pastor Becki and I began to feel a “tug” to plant a church. On September 18, 1988, Cathedral of Praise was born and was organized into a church in January of 1989. We started in a hotel room with a band of faithful pioneers. We went from room to room, eventually changing locations to an amphitheater and finally a church facility we could call “home.” On December 20,1996, during a Youth Christmas Banquet, the sanctuary accidentally caught fire. The fire quickly spread to a thirteen-alarm fire, which completely destroyed the sanctuary.

“The church without a home” caught the attention of the local media and a businessman heard our story on the news. Knowing we were without a place to hold worship services, the businessman contacted me that week and offered warehouse space to us. We gladly accepted and work began on changing the warehouse to a worship house. We were in the warehouse for several months and the Presence of God met with us in a very special way. God’s Presence can turn anything and any place into a holy place. During those months we had plans drawn to erect a new sanctuary on the property where the fire had taken place. My father-in-law and mentor, Dr. E. Lamar McDaniel, pastor of Evangel Temple Church of God and Principal of Evangel Christian Academy, approached me about our plans. We met every morning at the warehouse for prayer and sought God’s direction on the future. It became very evident to us that God had another direction. The first Sunday in June of 1997 Evangel Temple and Cathedral of Praise merged together to form Evangel Cathedral. A new chapter of church life was about to be written. We immediately began plans to build a new sanctuary adjacent to the Family Life Center. In November of 1999 we dedicated the new 1500-seat sanctuary at 7000 Rossville Boulevard on 39 acres of prime property. Since then the congregation continues to grow and we are presently enjoying a powerful move of God. He deserves all the praise, honor and glory! What We Believe

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible. In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost. Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people. In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement. In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet. In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years. In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

Friend, Hannah came before the priest and the whole congregation with an evidence saying For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition.

Friend before the end of this week, there shall be manifestation of answers to your prayers, you will showcase a physical evidence of what the Lord has done for you.

God does not store prayers, He answers prayers, stop doubting your prayers, If you must doubt anything, doubt your doubt and have faith on your faith. This week the answers to your prayers will produce a mind blowing testimony to the glory of God in Jesus name.

S*X is sweet but there's POISON in between the legs!!
A man who can control his sexual urge is a man who can live many years on earth. Men don't know that some of their downfalls are caused by MULTIPLE girlfriends. Not every girl has a good spirit. Some are demons, some has poison in between their legs.
Some women are destiny destroyers; becareful.
1. A real Man has only one Woman in his life.
2. Do not obey your Er****on at all times. Most Er****ons mislead you to wrong direction. Control your er****on if you don't want to to have few days on earth with much poverty on you.
3. Don't date a lady because she has sexy curves, b***s and shapes. Those things are just deceptive avoid such, don't fall for what is called the irony of social media.
4. It is not everything you see under skirt that you should hustle to eat, some skirts contain snakes that will bite you and leave you uncomfortable. Control your sexual urge. Self control and abstinence in most cases pays a lot.
5. Marrying a woman doesn't mean she's your property. Treat her with respect. Make her your queen, love, honor and give her reasons to treat you the same.
6. Having many girlfriends doesn't make you a man. It only makes you a womanizer, a cheat, sinner and a boy.
7. For the fact that you are good in bed doesn't make you a man. A real Man is the man who does not run from his responsibility but faces it squarely.
8. Respect any lady that loves you. Yes, it is not easy for a lady to throw her love on you and support your future.
9. The world celebrates successful men. Nobody will celebrate you for having many girlfriends. Therefore what is the benefit? Waste of energy, money and waste of S***m.
Remember, being honest, loyal and faithful that's the TRADEMARK of a REAL MAN.

In 1896, Thomas Edison, the great inventor who invented the electric bulb, was working on an idea to design a car when he heard that a young man who worked in his company had created an experimental car.

Edison met the youngman at his company's party in New York and interviewed him about the car. He was impressed! He had the same idea as the young man but he was considering electricity as the power source while the young man used a gasoline engine to power the car. He slammed his fist down and shouted "young man, that's the thing! You have it! ... I think you are on to something! I encourage you to continue your pursuits!" With these words of encouragement from the most highly respected inventor in the United States at that time, HENRY Ford continued his work, invented a car and became wealthy.

On december 9, 1914, Thomas Edison's laboratory and factory got burnt. He was 67years old and the damage was too extensive for insurance cover. Before the ashes were cold, Henry Ford handed Edison a cheque of $750,000 with a note saying that Edison could have more if he needed it!

In 1916, Henry Ford relocated his home to the building next to Edison's home and when Edison couldn't walk and was confined to a wheelchair by his doctors, Henry Ford also bought himself a wheelchair so that he could run wheelchair races with his friend and mentor!

Thomas Edison made Henry Ford believe in himself and got a friend for life!

LESSONS:
1) Don't ever be jealous of other people's success. If you can't win a race, help the person in front of you to break the record!

2) Your candle will not lose its light when it lights up another candle!

3) Getting the job done is more important than who gets the glory.

4) Dont belitle, discourage or kill peoples' (mentee) dreams, but rather propell them.

Beloved, sometimes the ministry is tiring and unjust. To the point of causing deep demotivation.
But before you want to give up, remember the souls that have been reached through you. How many families are standing, simply because you prayed, counseled and your messages touched the souls of the afflicted.

Never forget that your life is a source of life for many. When you think of giving up, know that many are encouraged and standing because of your ministry!

The true calling causes tears to come out.
The true calling brings wars,
The true calling brings conflicts.
The true calling brings discouragement.
The true calling brings loneliness and abandonment.
The true calling brings contempt
The true calling makes you think about quitting.
The true calling brings doubts. Is it God? ...
The true calling causes the prophet to hide.
The true calling makes the prophet afraid.

God is with you, man of God!

WHEN YOU MOVE FROM ONE CHURCH TO ANOTHER

_ Inform your pastor in advance if possible.
This is to enable create a smooth transition especially for those who serve in church. Do not create gaps or make it messy leaving your duties unattended to. Finish well and do not burn bridges.
_Make your reasons of relocation clear.
If it's because of issues or you got offended, find out if the pastor/ spiritual leader is approachable and explain yourself or try to sort out the issues with an aim of seeking peace.
_Most importantly, you need to have cleared with God on the same issues.
Clean your part.Should God place judgement over the matter, don't be found on the wrong side.

_ Do not move out of church for having been put on discipline for correction. If you must leave, let it be after the disciplinary time frame.

_ If you have a character issue sort it out. Confront yourself. Seek counsel for correction. Seek to overcome your negative behavior. Moving to another church with an impaired morality make_up means transferring your unacceptable behavior to the next church. Is it your submission to authority? Your big mouth? Slandering? Sexual immorality? Breaking people's hearts left ,right and centre? Seeking recognition and positions? Sort out your mess!

_Many times it is the reason of moving out that determines the exit formula. For instance, if it's because of doctrinal issues in church or the integrity of the man/ woman of God being questionable, it is not easy to state the reasons straight to the leadership. But find a reliable elder/ leader to share with over your disappointment. There is always someone willing to listen. Most importantly take the matter to God in prayer for direction. Don't carelessly throw words around.

_Find out what may need tolerance and try to cope as a mature Christian . The understanding that no one is perfect should never leave your mind even as you balance up issues against the word of God.

_ As you prayerfully search for your new place of worship, visit a few churches you have in mind for sampling before you make your final choice .

Do not be in hurry to decide. Know what you want in a place of worship for your spiritual home. What are you looking for in a church? Strong Children ministry for your kids? Pure Gospel presentation? Great music? Magnificent building for church structure? Big church? Small Church? Loving and caring shepherd? Proper discipleship? Prophecies? Mmmm? Miracles?? Curse breaking fire , fiiire , fire power power kind of church? An apostle?
A teaching church? Church with anointing oil for sale? All this depends on one's spiritual maturity.

Some pastors may look so simple, he may not have a car, he may not be exposed enough like the daddy pastors in the city, yet that's the man God may have assigned to you as a shepherd. Be careful.

Now if you are a minister be extra careful. Your placement for service determines your growth and next level....What makes you leave Church A to join Church B should be well thought out. Don't leave your God_given place of assignment because of goodies, promises and material gain . You may end up disappointed.

_When you finally get to your new place of worship,be clear about your reason of quiting the former church. Do not lie.Many times those who left for being subjected to disciplinary action for misbehavior don't disclose the truth, especially singers and musicians . It is for this reason that pastors are advised to get recommendations from the former pastor. However this is based on the pastor's discretion and discernment of an individual in regard to their spiritual maturity.

_ Do not bad mouth your former pastor. Even if he wasted you... or got you into some season of pain. Leave such to God. Forgive , let go and let God.
_ If you feel wounded from your former church, take a break for counseling and prayer. Get to heal before you actively embark in service.
_On the other side , pastors should not talk behind the backs of those who left. Some of these pastors left other churches too....and left pastors / Bishops to start their churches, so why get bitter when someone leaves the same way you left?

Look Pastor, when a brother or sister leaves your church, pray that he remains and stands in faith... period! The most important thing is for them to remain in the universal church of Christ and not your local assembly. Remember the Church of Christ is one! So don't mourn over anyone that leaves church unless he/she falls away from the walk of faith. Hold your peace and maintain decorum in your dealings with them. If they served well at some point in your church, consider to send them THANK YOU cards for their services. Appreciate them , pray for them and bless them. Do not curse people!

Having said that pastor, do not be the kind that tells people...." If you want to go out of here....just go" out of arrogance. This is not the heart of a shepherd!
If anything, if people are leaving find out why and be willing to sort out issues as Christ would handle them with love. If you frequently lose influential individuals in church; those who walk with God within a year or two because of issues, my brother swallow your pride , humble yourself, examine yourself and sort out the mess before it is too late. Ask for forgiveness where you may have gone wrong, check your leadership style, place scrutiny on your doctrine but most importantly find out if you are still in faith. Listen to level headed people on what's happening....at this point avoid sycophants completely.

Those who leave because of job transfers , new Ministerial assignment, official duties, studies, changing areas of settlement and such have had the privilege of pastors releasing them with blessings.

THEME: BREAKING OF GENERATIONAL CURSES 6

SCRIPTURE READING: Number 23:11-27

🔑 KEY VERSE: Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
Isaiah 24:6

Friend, a curse is a devouring force and should not be taken likely. There are four types of curses, and I have identify them. They are:
1. Inherited or generational curses
2. Parental curses ( Biological/ Guideiance or Spiritual Parental)
3.Self imposed curse
4. Hidden curses
And there are also different areas were curses manifest in a life of an individual or in a family and I have also identify the four outstanding areas:
1. Curse on Marital life
2. Curse on financial life
3. Mysterious sickness
4. Mysterious death.
When you consider day to day living of many people we could see many people are in need of Deliverance, a sincere-hearted person should find out if he or she is experiencing a prolong setbacks in areas of finance, marriage, health or mysterious death within the family and that is a clear sign of a curse, then go for Deliverance ministration. Break free from it, for you to enjoy the blessings that come from the Lord, let whatever that won’t let the rain of blessing fall on you maritally, financially, academically even spiritually, be broken now, in Jesus name

THEME: BREAKING OF GENERATIONAL CURSES 5

SCRIPTURE READING:
Exodus 20:1-10

🔑 KEY VERSE: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. Exodus 20:4-5.

Friend, a generational curse is basically one that is passed down from one generation to another. If your ancestors had been heavily involved in satanic worship, they opened doors to various demons into the family lineage.

Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities. Lamentations 5:7,
You do not only inherit your parents property, you also inherit their iniquities and God sees you as guilty, not only for your own sin, but for the sins of your ancestors as well.

Based on Lamentations 5:7 The evil committed by our parents are passed from generation to generation and these give demonic spirits a foothold in the lives of many people.

Satan takes advantage of this legal ground and hold msny people captive, until they break the evil covenant linking them with the idol worshipping of their parents.

If you and your siblings are suffering from the same problems, your parents suffered, then it is quite obvious that you are suffering from the effects of a generational curse and you need curse breaking ministrations in your family.

FOR EXAMPLES
The following problems can be traced to be family inherited problems: Emotional instability, Fear , Barrenness, impotence, marital instability, Lack and Poverty, Inability to be Productive , Debt, Lack of Ambitions , Lack of Vision, Lack of Direction.

WHAT TO DO?
1. Do a personal inventory on your family’s involvement in Idol worshiping, fortunes telling, magic, etc, then you confess all to God and ask His for forgiveness.

2. Burn everything that is associated with it

3. Set yourself a program of bible reading and prayers

4. Go for curse breaking deliverance ministrations

5. Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit

1. Lord I confess the sins committed by my ancestors against you through Idol worshiping, occultism, killing, charms magic etc. From today i renounce them and i separate myself from them all in Jesus' name.

2. Lord I ask you to forgive me and my ancestors of all these sins that have exposed my generation to curses, in Jesus' name.

3. Lord i forgive those who’ve sinned against me (name these people) in Jesus' name.

SCRIPTURE READING: Zechariah 3:1-10

🔑 KEY VERSE:Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it. I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with
the timber thereof and the stones thereof. Zechariah 5:3-4.

Friend, the above scriptures clearly stated that a curse goes over the face of the earth to locate it's victim.
1. The curse will enter the house of the victim and remain in the midst of the house.
2. The curse will consume the timber thereof and The curse will consume the stones thereof.

The house mean a family and that means every person from that family will have his or her share of the suffering from the curse in one way or the other.
Curses affecting the entire house are generational. It can be on the entire family.
The curse remaining in the house means: the suffering will go from generation to generation except an individual rise to break the curse or the family can call for family liberation to break the curse from the family.
The Timber and the stones thereof speaks of great people that would have risen to prominence from the family.
The curse consuming the Timber and the stones thereof, means the people that are supposed to be great people from that family will be brought to nothing and none members of the family will ever rise to prominence except the curse is broken.
Something great is just at your door. That’s why God wants every barrier between you and your breakthroughs to be removed.

MORNING WARFARE PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord delivered my family from the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth, in Jesus' name 🙏

2. You curse that entered my father's house, you will not remain in our house, be broken
