We understand the Church to be God’s chosen agent through which Good news is preached to the poor, prisoners are set free, the blind see, the oppressed are released and God’ liberating love is proclaimed. The church is also called to be the salt of the earth, rooted in local communities and bringing transformation through involving and sharing in the life of the local community, whilst retaining a
distinct and positive witness within it.There are huge challenges in slum areas and the Christian mission and presence is essential to bring community transformation and hope to individuals. This Ministry is set up to bring the ministers and leaders together for;
1. Mutual encouragement,
2. Sharing ideas,
3. Prayer and Partnering as well as,
4. Inspiration as churches seeks to bring the light of Christ in the dark world. We believe that encouraging and strengthening urban churches is the most effective way of reproducing and multiplying them.
