Many Kenyans desire to improve their livelihoods but often lack access to reliable investment information and opportunities. Recognizing this need, the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK), in partnership with the Kenya Association of Stockbrokers and Investment Banks, convened at the EAK Livelihood, Humanitarian Service and Sustainability Commission meeting at Sarova Panafric.
The meeting brought together church leaders and stakeholders to explore how Christians can move beyond financial survival towards sustainable wealth creation through informed investment. Discussions focused on equipping ordinary church members, especially women and low-income earners, with the knowledge and confidence needed to participate in safe investment opportunities.
Participants also shared concerns about the increasing number of Kenyans losing money through fraudulent investment schemes and poorly managed projects. These experiences highlighted the urgent need for greater financial literacy, investor awareness, and accountability within the investment ecosystem.
The engagement reaffirmed EAK's commitment to holistic transformation by empowering communities not only spiritually but also economically. Through strategic partnerships and continued education, EAK seeks to help individuals and families build financial resilience, steward resources wisely, and create sustainable livelihoods for future generations.
