Spiritual growth is not built upon constant movement; it is cultivated through faithful connection.
If believers truly understood the importance of remaining connected to the father God has joined them to, much unnecessary wandering would come to an end.
We would no longer spend our lives moving from one spiritual leader to another, searching for another voice, another prayer, another experience.
Instead, we would settle in our hearts and say, "This is the father God has connected me to," and from that place allow the relationship to mature naturally.
This was what the Apostle Paul was communicating when he reminded the believers that they had many instructors, yet few fathers (1 Corinthians 4:15). Those words have become meaningful to me over the years. ๐ผ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ฉ๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ค๐ง๐ข๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ. ๐ผ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ฉ๐จ ๐ก๐๐๐.
Both have their place within the Body of Christ, yet they do not fulfil the same assignment.
Neither does every spiritual leader become a father to every believer. That is neither God's design nor His expectation.
A spiritual father carries responsibility for those whom God has joined to him. Likewise, a spiritual son willingly embraces that relationship because he recognises God's hand in bringing them together. It is never built upon popularity, reputation, or personal preference.
It is born through ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.
