Bwana Yesu asifiwe.
Today we are in the season of Easter meant to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
When the people succeeded to have Jesus crucified, all hope was gone. Judas hanged himself, the disciples scattered before gathering together, Peter went back to fishing with others. John 21:3, many followers cried as the Jews celebrated Lk 23:27. The devil and evil people rejoiced at this. He was buried in a tomb that was securely closed with a huge stone, Mth 27:60, 65, 66. Jesus even handed over His mother to John, Jhn 19:26,27. It was totally DARK, disappointments, discouragements, mourning with no hope, Lk 21:53, 23:44.
But while it was still DARK, with no hope, Good news emerged about Him that HE IS ALIVE! HE HAS RISEN!, to the amazement of every one. Mth 28:6,7. He came back to life with the gift of eternal life.
No matter how dark it May be, Evil shall not prevail. Evil might celebrate for just a moment but light will come soon. Let's not loose our hope.
In our present situation, there is hope. Jesus who brings light in darkness is our saviour. The power that worked out resurrection in Jesus is with us today. Ephesians 1:19-20.
Let's trust Him.
Blessed Easter
