Holding Firm to the Truth of God’s Word

Text: Titus 2:1

In a world overflowing with opinions, trends, and competing voices, God calls His Church to stand firmly on His unchanging Word.

Sound doctrine is not merely information to know, but truth that transforms how we believe, live, and follow Christ.

1. Stand on Scripture.

God's Word is the foundation of sound doctrine.

2. Live the truth.

Genuine doctrine must produce godly character and obedience.

3. Discern carefully.

Sound doctrine protects us from false teaching and spiritual deception.

4. Keep Christ central.

Every true biblical teaching ultimately points us to Jesus.

5. Speak truth faithfully.

The Church must proclaim God's truth boldly and lovingly.

6. Continue growing.

Read, study, pray, and test every teaching against Scripture.

7. Guard what you believe.

Rejecting sound doctrine can lead to confusion, compromise, weak faith, and spiritual drift.

Finally brethren ;

In an age of shifting opinions, God's Word remains our anchor.

Let us hold firmly to truth, live it faithfully, and pass it to the next generation.

May our faith be rooted in Scripture, centred on Christ, and evident in the way we live.

The Narrow and the Wide Gate

Texts: Matthew 7:13–14 | Luke 13:23–27 | Deuteronomy 30:19

Every day, life presents us with choices.

Jesus teaches that there are only two paths: the wide gate that is easy but leads to destruction, and the narrow gate that requires commitment but leads to eternal life.

The gate we choose determines the destination we reach.

1. The narrow gate is a deliberate choice to follow Christ wholeheartedly.

2. Entering the narrow gate requires letting go of sin, unforgiveness, anger, malice, and worldly habits.
(Colossians 3:1–10)

3. Spiritual growth demands sacrifice, obedience, and a transformed mind. (Romans 12:2)

4. Avoid spiritual defilement by rejecting idolatry, compromise, and every form of ungodliness.
(Acts 15:20)

5. Walk in the ancient paths of God's truth instead of following the crowd.
(Jeremiah 6:16)

6. Seek God's will through His Word, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
(Colossians 1:9–13)

7. Bear fruit worthy of Christ, proving that your life reflects the path you have chosen.

Finally brethren ;

The wide gate may seem attractive, but it ends in ruin.

The narrow gate may be challenging, but it leads to everlasting life.

Today, choose life, choose Christ, and walk faithfully on the path that leads to God's eternal Kingdom.

God never intended us to run the Christian race alone.

Though we carry different gifts, callings, and stories, we are united in Christ as one body with one mission, to know Him and make Him known.

1. We are one body, uniquely gifted for God's glory.

2. Every believer has a place and purpose in God's Kingdom.

3. Unity in Christ is greater than our differences.

4. Press on faithfully toward God's heavenly prize.

5. Run your race with perseverance and unwavering faith.

6. Serve joyfully, knowing every role matters on Team Jesus.

7. Keep your eyes fixed on Christ, our Captain and Perfecter of faith.

Transformation

Text: Ezekiel 37:1–14

Sermon Summary

Transformation begins when we surrender to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

In Ezekiel's vision, the valley of dry bones represented a people who had lost hope and spiritual vitality.

Yet, where man saw death, God saw the potential for revival.

1. Dry bones are a picture of spiritual emptiness and disconnection from God.

2. True transformation begins when we accept the Holy Spirit's leading.

3. God specializes in breathing life into dead situations.

4. The Holy Spirit restores hope where despair has taken root.

5. A Spirit-filled believer walks in power, purpose, and obedience.

6. God's Word, when spoken in faith, awakens dormant destinies.

7. Revival comes when we allow God to fill every area of our lives.

Finally brethren :

Ezekiel 37 reminds us that no life is too dry and no situation is beyond God's reach.

If we yield to the Holy Spirit, He will transform us from lifeless bones into a mighty army for His glory.

Today, choose transformation and let the breath of God fill you anew.
