DISPLAY YOUR LOVE FOR YOUR CHURCH: (4 WAYS)

How will anyone ever know you love your church if you can’t proudly display it?
If you genuinely do, THEN DO THIS:

•• SHOW UP!
– TO CHURCH, REGULARLY.

If you really love your Church, YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS WHAT'S GOING ON EACH SUNDAY, AND YOU'LL MAKE IT A PRIORITY TO BE THERE every week.

•• SERVE!
– IN THE CHURCH.

Surely that’s not too much for someone who loves the church. I would argue SOMEONE WHO LOVES THE CHURCH SHOULD ACTUALLY WANT TO SERVE MORE, not less, since we are called to be servants.

•• GIVE!
– TO THE CHURCH, ON REGULAR BASIS.

The church’s main purpose is to go and make followers of Jesus. YOUR GENEROSITY HELPS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS PURPOSE. IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHURCH, YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM GIVING TO IT.

•• PRAY!
– FOR YOUR CHURCH AND YOUR PASTOR, EVERY WEEK.

YOUR PASTORS CARRIES AN INCREDIBLE BURDEN for those inside and outside of the church. HELP THEM BY LIFTING THEM UP IN PRAYER DAILY. The people inside your church have needs as well. Lifting them up in prayer can be one of the most important things you do each week.

•• REGARDLESS OF WHAT IS GOING ON, GOD WILL MAKE A WAY.

•~• THERE IS A PATH THAT I AM GOING THROUGH AND GOD WILL MAKE A DEDICATED WAY.

•• GOD IS ALWAYS WORKING - HE NEITHER SLEEPS NOR SLUMBERS.

•• GOD TAKES GLORY IN OUR WINNING OR VICTORY.

•~• WHATEVER CHALLENGE I AM FACING, THERE IS A PATH THROUGH IT.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:11-12

• WE MUST BE SENSITIVE TO THE VOICE AND THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

• IF WE WILL GET TO THAT POINT OF VICTORY, WE MUST LEARN TO SPEND TIME WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

THE ENEMY'S DEVICES

2 COR 10:4-5 (KJV)
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Yesterday we learned that the enemy is already disarmed and defeated - So we are basically enforcing the victory that we may live in full expression of that victory.

Initially the weapon was death, but then death lost it's sting and it's victory - 1 COR 15:55-57.
HEBREWS 2:14-15 says that through death we were delivered from the fear of death.

Our text reveals the WEAPON CURRENTLY ADOPTED by these principalities and powers - they're imaginations, thoughts and things that try to exert authority over what we KNOW Christ achieved for us.

• MSG BIBLE calls them WARPED PHILOSOPHIES, BARRIERS AGAINST THE TRUTH, LOOSE THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS.

• AMP BIBLE calls them ARGUMENTS, THEORIES, REASONINGS AND PROUD THINGS SET AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.

• • So because the principalities and powers are disarmed, they now introduce THEORIES, PHILOSOPHIES AND EMOTIONS against our faith and destiny.

NOTE: All these are INTRODUCED VIA THE MIND, including emotions - you're likely to feel in a certain way based on your thinking.

• • Therefore when in this fight, focus on what the enemy focuses on, THE MIND - thus Paul says, 'be ye transformed BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND' - ROM 12:2

• • GUARD YOUR MIND against his weapons - WARPED PHILOSOPHIES, UNBIBLICAL THEORIES, 'UNSPIRITUAL' REASONING, and anything contrary to what the WORD says about you and your destiny.

THE BELIEVER'S VICTORY!

2 COR 10:4-5 (KJV)
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

In spiritual warfare Spiritual Weapons must of necessity be employed - Carnal armour doesn't work in spiritual battles.

- A believer's fight is NOT against flesh and blood, but against principalities and power in heavenly places.

BUT NOTICE: There's an EXCEEDING GREAT POWER which is already exerted against this principalities and powers - EPH 1:21, and this POWER IS RESIDENT AND AT WORK IN YOU.

The POWER IS CHRIST and was activated by the finished work of the Cross - 1 COR 1:24 says, CHRIST IS THE POWER OF GOD.

So in fighting, we are NOT fighting to win, gain or acquire victory; we're basically fighting to ENFORCE THE VICTORY which Christ ALREADY ATTAINED for us on the Cross.

COLOSSIANS 2:15 says that God in Christ DISARMED PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS that were ranged against us and TRIUMPHED OVER THEM on the Cross.

Christ won for you before you accepted Him; when you accept Him, the victory is activated in you and you become a partaker of the victory. That's why Paul calls you "more than a conqueror in Christ"

4. The tools of our trade aren't for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture.

5. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ.

6. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.

“PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS” - MARK 16:15

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (KJV)

One of the characteristics of faith is that, FAITH SPEAKS! PROCLAIM the Good News to every Creature. FAITH SPEAKS! - There is a level of faith in God that He desires is to attain - a level where we boldly PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS to every Creature (not some).

PHILEMON Vs. 6 says that, "The sharing, expression or participation of our faith becomes effective when we ACKNOWLEDGE (admit reality and validity) every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus"

The Context from which Jesus spoke this Word was in sharing the Gospel for the salvation of souls. However, through it, He let us into the spiritual world to understand that all creations have the ability to hear the Word.

• Until we understand what the Gospel really is, we cannot maximize on its potential and resources. However, the Scriptures make us understand that;

• • The GOOD NEWS is in GALATIANS 3:13 - "Christ hath redeemed us from the Curse of the law, being made a Curse for us;"

• • The GOOD NEWS is in 1 PETER 2:24 - "By His stripes we were healed"

• • The GOOD NEWS is in 2 CORINTHIANS 8:9 - "Jesus Christ became poor that ye, through His poverty might be rich"

• • The GOSPEL is in PHILIPPIANS 4:19 - "But my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory"
..and much more.

~ THE GOSPEL/GOOD NEWS is what Jesus the Christ attained for us through the Cross. NOW that same Jesus Christ said, "Go ye into all the world and PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE"

--- THE SPIRITUAL LAW HERE IS THAT EVERY CREATURE HAS THE ABILITY TO HEAR - in the spiritual realm, they have the capacity to hear.

• • Stones can hear, Trees can hear, The Sun and the Moon can hear, the Winds can hear, the Sea can hear, and they are all CREATURES.

• In LUKE 11:12-14 - Jesus PREACHED, PROCLAIMED or SPOKE to the fig tree and the tree dried up - Vs. 14 says, "And Jesus ANSWERED and SAID UNTO IT ...."

• In Joshua 10:12 - Joshua PREACHED, PROCLAIMED or SPOKE to the Sun and the moon to stand still - Vs. 12 - "... and he said in the sight of Israel, 'Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou Moon, in the valley of Ajalon"

In Mark 4 - Jesus PREACHED, PROCLAIMED or SPOKE the winds and the Sea - Vs. 39 - "And He arose and rebuked the winds, and SAID TO THE SEA, "Peace be still"

Your body and its organs has an ear, so proclaim the Gospel of healing and wholeness; your account, purse or wallet has an ear, so preach to it the Gospel of abundant supply; Your Organization and Office has an ear, so proclaim to it the Good News of your Promotion; your soil or land has an ear, so proclaim to it a house, home or an establishment; your country has an ear, so proclaim to it Peace and Prosperity within its boarders. These are all Creatures or Creations to which you're COMMANDED AND EMPOWERED TO PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS TO.

The opposite of faith is not fear; it is FLESH - 2 COR 5:7 - "for we walk by faith not by sight" - SIGHT is just one of the natural senses. Therefore, FAITH is a Spiritual Sense; FLESH is a Natural Sense -- Natural Senses are subject to the laws of nature and the world's economy; but faith isn't - Faith subjects laws of nature to spiritual laws.

NATURAL SENSES ARE DEACTIVATED WHEN SPIRITUAL SENSES ARE ACTIVATED.

6. Here’s my point. A stingy sower will reap a meager harvest, but the one who sows from a generous spirit will reap an abundant harvest.

7. Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving — all because God loves hilarious generosity!

8. Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything — every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.
