PiranhaSPEAK: THE IRONY IN ATHEISM
PART THREE
Last time we signed off with the assignment that you research on "How counterfeit experts are able to establish that something is counterfeit". It is my hope that you did your assignment.
Research into identification of counterfeits reveals that during training, those tasked with identifying counterfeits spend their time first handling originals until that is the only thing they know. That way, much later when counterfeits are introduced, they are able to identify them. The more time they spend with the original, the easier it is to identify the counterfeit. The same is true with our lives. There are so many counterfeit gospels being preached around much to the detriment of Christianity. Sadly, very few believers interact with the original as they should. And even then, some get lost in translation (and eventually understanding and application), and many more believe somebody else's wrong interpretation as Gospel truth!
The reason why things are falling apart left, right and centre in the body of Christ is because we have become more zealous about winning converts than making disciples!
Sadly many evangelism efforts are soul winning rather than disciple-making outfits in that their interpretation of the Great Commission is lopsided; outfits so focused on bringing people to Christ for what He can do for them rather than who He is!
The rampant statement has been "Come to Jesus and He will..." rather than "Come to Jesus and begin a relationship with Him". You see, ultimately it is the relationship that avails the finished works. Yet so fervently have we ministered His works than Himself; and many a non-believer going through issues and trouble did come to Him knowing that His only role is to do for them their bidding.
The result? A gap is created for unbelief!
Where is the call to holiness and righteousness? Where is the call to repentance and to lives of servitude in Christ?
We are at a point in time where that boat sailed long ago and a bigger one of "God will bless you with..." has docked port!
Today's article is especially aligned to one of the key Christian responses that will enable the church to awaken from the slumber caused by serious inebriation by the patterns of this world.
Atheism is clearly the latest benefactor of a Gospel that is counterfeit. Sadly, it will also be the biggest casualty of the same; as many as are aligning to a liberal world view are also setting themselves up for the next big lie!
2nd Corinthians 4 (KJV) says:
1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

It is clear in the Word of God that the current resistance to the Faith took root long ago. And it is also clear that unbelief is a common response to the Gospel. But what many people do not realize is that unbelief and atheism drink from the same fountain! They are both a consequence of blindness. And this kind of blindness is severe because it is ironic; it is an absence of light without light being absent! Confusing, Huh?
Look at it this way: You are in a room with
any doors or windows but outside that room the sun is shinning bright! Thus there is an absence of light (room with no doors and windows) without there being an absence of light (the sun is shinning bright outside).
The irony in atheism is that it is a conscious choice unto blindness; an entrance into that room with neither doors or windows. Now the interesting part becomes choosing darkness/blindness then declaring that light does not exist!
What then is the Christian response to this?
Is it arguing out the existence of light with the blind?
No! It is speaking sight and letting light speak for itself! It is being a light unto the world even as we represent the source of all light!
PARTING SHOT:
Matthew 5:16 (KJV) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

PiranhaSPEAK: THE IRONY IN ATHEISM
PART TWO
Last time as I signed off I gave an assignment: that you ponder upon these words "The things that bring about unbelief are the same things that inspire radical faith"
It is my hope that this statement has given you unrest in your Spirit. If it has not, or if you are that person who seldom does assignments, I implore you to stop reading right now and go do your assignment!
You see, there is no point going into a new task if the previous one is incomplete; because the problem with Christianity today is being exposed to so many half-truths as a result of laziness on our part! We do not want to spend time ourselves hearing from God and so everyone else's experience with God becomes our own! This leaves us shallow and confused because when God does not work for us as He did for whoever else, our faith is shaken! TOTALLY!
The result? A Church that is accustomed to the easy way out! Well, these articles (as I said in the previous one), are neither polite nor friendly because they are meant to inspire the Church into action! Before we get a misrepresentation of facts, there's a difference between taking actions to produce results as per God's agenda, and taking action in a bid to appear to be doing something. Productivity is different from Activity!
Are you getting hurt and/or offended as you read this? Are you saying to yourself as you read this that my tone is harsh? Good! Welcome to my side of the coin!
If you are feeling indifferent as you read, then there's no harm in quitting reading at this point. Walk away and count it not a loss.
Anyway, back to the article.

Several days ago I read a post by the Atheist movement that was cynically directed at the injustices of God. It read like this: "Spend a day in a pediatric cancer ward and then tell me 'God is real'".
Let's take a look at this a little bit. So, God gives us earth to be custodians of in the beginning of time. Then we become typical human beings by being reckless with our stewardship. We become the kind of people with the notion that "everything goes" irregardless of the consequences to us, the environment or future generations and then when the consequences come we blame everyone else but ourselves! Typical human beings!
Have we sat back to ask ourselves where these things we call "injustices" actually came from? Have we seen the long line of mistakes that has led us to where we are today? Have we asked the hard question "What is the role of man in all this?"
Yet we want to hide behind the excuse that if God does exist, why do bad things happen to the innocent/good people?
Quick question: if today you had the freedom to do whatever you want, just how far would you go?
Have you ever considered that the reason most people don't litter in the streets of cities is because there are restrictions in place and they actually do fear the enforcing authorities?
What do you think would happen if these systems are abolished? We would go on rampage and litter everywhere. The result? Consequences to us, the environment and future generations! Now, that is how we got where we are!!
God has provided a way out since the beginning but man assumes because he can pull scientific stunts he is all knowing and all powerful. Well, think again!
John 1:1-16 (KJV) says
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.
11 He came unto his own, and His own received Him not.
12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before me.

Since the beginning there has been a solution to the chaos, pain and disorder - the Light who is Jesus Christ. You don't come into the light to pull off a bargain; you come to the light to shed off darkness. A relationship with light brings about an understanding of darkness!
As someone is being hysterical about God's ability to be just, another is being inspired into serious faith because God healed, delivered, restored, provided, etc. Hence as someone is busy plucking God out of things and saying "How can you allow this to happen to me?" because they want quick fixes, ironically on the same precedence someone else is understanding the bigger picture and saying "Where would I be without you God?"

PiranhaSPEAK: THE IRONY IN ATHEISM
PART ONE
There has been quite the debate on atheism of late and waves of panic among the Church seem to be the order of recent times. The response of the Church has been a case of "the more things change, the more they remain the same". Lest there be confusion on my stand in the arguments I raise beyond this point, I want to firmly profess my faith in Jesus Christ, who is saviour of my life. Now moving on: I want to admit that this article will not be polite or friendly (to both the Church and atheists alike). I believe that the only way to respond to a society that is on the fast lane to total decline is ONLY radical Christianity!
Now, before we all misconstrue facts as far as what I mean is concerned, let me point out that my definition of radicalism may not be the same as yours - press conferences bashing state mechanisms on the registration of atheist movements is far from a radical Christian response! After all minority group rights are clearly protected in the constitution.
My approach to this is rather bold and different I must say, and I am no stranger to the fact that there will be many that embrace my sentiments and even more that will raise arms in protest and offence. This is primarily because as I said, this is neither a polite nor friendly article. It is a proper look at facts in a bid to address a more underlying societal problem!
It's rather important for me to be very candid as I address this with the Church: Wishing atheism and atheists away is akin to wishful thinking, and we all know what the English proverb says about beggars and wishes.
The Bible is very clear in 2nd Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV) that:
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Well, these times are here now. Ain't they?
Fulfilment of the Bible affirms that indeed it is authoritative Word of God. For how can it be otherwise yet the accuracy it has is second to none? Even science is often disproved by the advancement of time - with time new scientific theories are formulated to replace older, less accurate ones. Never so with the Word of God!
Every failure, inconsistency, misconception and irrelevance we have on Christianity and religion is not pegged on the deity of God the Father, Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit; rather the frailty of man - the man that represents God's agenda on earth! Anyway before we get ahead of ourselves, let us go back to the subject matter of this article: The Irony In Atheism
It's rather ironic (don't you think?) that the entire atheism agenda is set on the existence of God! Wait, let's get that again: the entire agenda on God's non-existence is set on the very existence of God? Ironic. Huh?
This reminds me of this passage in the Bible:
Matthew 9:1-7 (KJV)
1 And He entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.
2 And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
7 And he arose, and departed to his house.
So my question is simple here - Which is easier: to admit that God exists or to deny His existence?

The Folly Of Modernism and 'Trendy' Trends Part 1

Introduction
The more things change, the more they remain the same! This may look like the most controversial statement of all time, and quite rightly so. Humanity is on a roller coaster, with the in thing all over being who can outdo who in creating the most perverse societal norms! Yet the truth is that, every equation has a constant, and it's that constant that serves as a benchmark. Most people may not want to hear this, but truth is truth! And the more we try to create grey areas, the more black and white becomes evident! In a society where everyone is skirting away from being labelled as having one phobia or the other, slowly we are entering a state of apostacy! Interestingly, we (the body of Christ), seem more interested in creating mega structures and appearing savvy, than to pleasing God unapologetically.

Go In And Take Possession! The Introduction

Hallo child of God? We are in the last month of the year and I feel it so strongly in my Spirit to encourage somebody this day. The year is definitely coming to a close and you may look ay the year that has been so far and feel discouraged because for one reason or another you don't seem to have achieved much. Well, it's okay!
You may be looking at your past days and you feel more confused today than you were yesterday; maybe the pain of yesterday is now more vivid and acute, and while you had hoped for reprieve and clarity, that doesn't seem as though it's in the works! But, it's okay!
You have been listening to people testify of the Lord's doing and you are looking around at everybody else being blessed in one way or another, yet you feel stagnant, and the only thing you have is hope; that maybe this time round as the Lord blesses His people it will be your turn - still nothing! Yet, it's okay!
It's never easy when things don't seem to work out; when you don't know whether you are coming, going or gone! But I came to announce to you today that irregardless of what you are facing or going through, It is okay!
You may ask what makes all that okay and this is the simplest answer I will give you "Because there is a God in Heaven!"
Over the next few days until we wrap this year, we will forget what has been or not been and we will Go in and Take Possession!
So, quit whining about what is not working in your life, quit crying about what has not been; wipe your tears, dust yourself and rise up! Matthew 11:12 says "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force (KJV)."
This series is not about or for the faint hearted! It is about and for someone who is done bowing to pressure; someone who is ready to step into what God released over their lives!
Child of God this is not about balancing input and output! It is about fervency! This is where hope becomes converted into action; where faith becomes visible and tangible!
Deuteronomy 1:8 See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the LORD swore he would give to your fathers--to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--and to their descendants after them (NIV)."
God has already given direction and so it's time to get into 'DO-MODE'. We have to get into the threshold of doers, after we have become hearers!
Get ready! We are Going in! And we are laying a hold of the possessions that God spoke over our lives.
