Benefit of salvation
We are partakers of God's promises and blessings through Jesus Christ. Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if we indeed suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together.
There are some legalities that you cannot apply when you are not born again Matthew 17:27 but he answered and said, it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. It is the mercy of God that heals and meet the needs of non believers but they cannot ask the same in boldness. Hebrews 4:16 let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time ofneed.
Note:- A believer walks in boldness but a non believer cannot.
We rest from works. A born again person is justified by their faith in Christ. Hebrews 4:9,10, there remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who had entered his rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from his. God no longer wants us to walk in works but as children of grace.
We have the assurance of eternal life. John 11:25, Jesus said to her, i am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die he shall live. A born again person has the assurance of heaven and they also do not fear death. 2cor 5:8 we are confident, yes we are pleased rather to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Note:- non believers are doomed from eternal damnation.
We are freed from the yoke of guilt and condemnation. The nature of sin is to condemn and is a yoke. When we come to Christ, the yoke of sin is broken. Romans 8:1 there is therefore now no condemnation for them that are in Christ Jesus.
You become a son of God. A son is entrusted with authority and we are able to exercise kingdom authority on earth. A son represents cases on behalf of other people to the Father. We are therefore given authority to represent others before God; that is why we are able to pray for our family, the nation, the church... etc. John 17:6-12 give an account of Jesus praying for his disciples. He also prayed for peter in Luke 22:31,32 and the Lord said, Simon Simon, indeed Satan has asked for you that he may sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith should fail not, and when you have returned to me, strengthen your brethren. A non believer has no authority as a son
We receive the gift of holy spirit. The holy spirit is for believers, and is our help even when nobody offers to help. Non believers cannot experience such help and that is why they can go to extremes in order to attain help from man.
We receive the right to deal with the enemy. As a believer you can take authority in the name of Jesus and command the enemy and he obeys. We have the authority over powers of darkness. This is different with the non believer because they cannot fight the same kingdom which they serve.
