NBC W PRAYER WATCH WEEK 4 (18TH – 24TH MAY)
THEME: WHEN THE HEAVENS OPEN: BLESSINGS FLOW
Prayer Focus & Guiding Scripture
Prayer points
1)Self
Jeremiah 17: 7-8- But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
• Pray that even in this difficult season we will trust in the Lord & be like the tree planted by water that has no worries in drought & continues to bear fruit.
• Pray that even at this time, we will experience God’s blessings in our lives (e.g. spiritual, economic, relational, emotional blessings etc).
• Pray that rather than fear & anxiety we will experience God’s love & peace, and the amazing blessing of His Presence.
• Pray that we will bless others in various ways as the Lord enables us (financially, food, prayer support, emotional support etc). That many would experience God’s blessings through us and come to know Him.
2) Family
Romans 8: 28- And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
• Pray that our families will love God and keep His commandments that they may experience his covenant of love & blessings to a thousand generations.
• Pray for the generations in your family. Declare blessings upon them. That in every season God’s favour & Presence would rest upon them. That they would walk in His purposes.
• Pray that the Lord would turn any area of struggle in our families around that it may become an avenue of blessing. That God will work ALL things for their good. Pray into the specific areas God places in your heart.
3) The church
Psalm 67: 7- May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.
• Pray that the Lord will pour out His blessing over His church for His glory. That many would see what God is doing and fear Him.
• Pray for the many churches and church workers that are struggling to make ends meet during this Pandemic. Pray for breakthrough.
