Christianity & Aliens
The ancient apostolic christological vision on the alleged existence of dreary aliens in the universe who may one day storm and destroy the earth is clearly captured in three critical verses
John 1:3
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."
Colossians 1:16
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him."
Hebrews 1:2
"...his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds."
There is not a thing that was created and that exists out of the creative will of God which was not created in furtherance of the plans, purposes and intents of God.
Paul let's us know the following in Romans 8:28:
"We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
This verse reminds us of what he tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:9:
"But as it is written, No eye has seen (beheld), nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the (good) things which God has prepared for them that love him."
What God has in stall for His creation is so extremely generous that Paul says God's goodness is inconceivable. If we imagine a degree of goodness that has never been seen before, God's goodness still surpasses, by far, our best imaginations and conjectures of the kindness He is capable of and that He has reserved for us for all eternity.
Moreover, the Bible contains the record of about 365 times where we find the statement, "fear not". God has never inspired fear and there is no darkness in God that we should have cause to be alarmed with fear. God is light, pure light, and there's no trace of darkness in Him.
Aliens are an imagination of the shadowy human mind which so often falls prey to fears, false evidence appearing real.
Jesus taught that God is good. There is no evil in God, and God does what God is. The acts of God are an expression of the nature of God as goodness Himself.
