*Day 11*

🌱 "Is this not the fast I have chosen?" is a powerful question from the Bible (Isaiah 58:6-7)

👉🏽God asks people who are fasting physically but neglecting true righteousness, emphasizing that real fasting involves acts of justice, mercy, and compassion, like freeing the oppressed, sharing with the hungry, and caring for the needy, rather than just outward religious rituals.

It's a call for heart transformation and practical kindness over superficial observance, highlighting that God desires genuine care for others as the most acceptable fast.

*What God's Chosen Fast Is:?*

1. To loose the chains of injustice: Breaking oppressive systems and unfair practices.

2. To undo heavy burdens: Helping those who are weighed down by hardship.

3. To set the oppressed free: Liberating people from bo***ge and suffering.

4. To share with the hungry: Providing food and shelter for the poor.

5. To clothe the naked: Meeting the basic needs of those who lack.

6. To care for your own: Not turning away from family or community in need.

_What Fasting Is Not:_👇🏽
👉🏽Just physical abstention: God isn't impressed by going hungry if it doesn't lead to compassion.

👉🏽Performative or hypocritical: Fasting for show or without a change of heart is rejected.

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (KJV)

Day 8.

*Walking, Believing and Declaring God's promises.*

🌱Num.23.19 👇🏽

God is not a man, that he should lie. He is not a human, that he should change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? (NLT)

For us to attain the order and alignment this year, we need to be aligned with what God has already spoken concerning us in his promises.

*Key Themes in God's Promises:*

👉🏽_Presence & Help:_ "I am with you; be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee" (Isaiah 41:10).

👉🏽_Forgiveness:_ "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins" (1 John 1:9).

👉🏽_Provision:_ God promises to meet needs, not always wants, stating He feeds the birds and clothes the lilies (Matthew 6:26, 33, Phil 4:19).

👉🏽_Peace:_ "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you" (Isaiah 26:3).

👉🏽_Strength & Guidance:_ "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholds him with His hand" (Psalm 37:23-24).

👉🏽_Love & Mercy:_ God's love endures forever, and He shows compassion to all His creation (Psalm 100:5, 145:9).

👉🏽_Eternal Life:_ Jesus promised abundant life and security for those who follow Him (John 10:10, 10:28).

Let's all remember that all the promises of God are Yes and Amen in Him. (Christ Jesus) 2Cor 1:20.

Believe as the Holy Spirit leads you🙏🏽

*Warfare.*

*Key Themes in Warfare Prayers.* 👇🏽👇🏽

🌱 "I will command My angels" often refers to divine promises, especially in the Bible (Psalm 91:11),

👉🏽 *Divine Protection:* Asking God to be a shield, surround with angels, and guard against harm and deception.

👉🏽*Taking the Armor of God:* Applying Ephesians 6:10-17 (belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, sword of the Spirit, peace).

👉🏽*Demolishing Strongholds:* Using divine power to tear down arguments and high things that exalt against God (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

👉🏽*Authority in Christ:* Commanding spiritual forces to leave and taking captive every thought to obey Christ.

👉🏽*Victory & Deliverance:*
Declaring God's power and claiming freedom from bo***ge (Galatians 5:1).

*NB:* "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts" is a famous biblical phrase from the book of _Zechariah 4:6._

🌱 *21 Days of Prayers and Fasting.* 🙏🏽

*👉🏽👉🏽The year of Alignment and Divine Connection*

*Day 5.*

*Pleading for Mercy.*

🌱 “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.” *Psalm 51:1*

Our God is a merciful God and he is ready to restore us when we seek his mercies that are more than his wrath.

May we plead that his mercies that are new every morning may engulf and embrace our spirit, soul and body and that we'll operate by his mercies alone. 🙏🏽

May we remove any form of justification and we choose to fall at his feet for restoration and revival of our lives.

May we also Inteceede for our loved ones, family, and country that God may have mercy also.

Brethren as we enter *Day 5* of prayers and fasting, let us approach the throne of God with confidence and assurance that we may receive *grace and find mercy* to help us in every time of need.

*“Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.”* 🌱 *Psalm 119:77*

May we understand that God's mercy are what we ride on. Without his mercies, none of us can stand.

For we have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God and therefore, we have to remember that:

🌱 *Lam.3.22* 👇🏽👇🏽

It is of the *LORD'S mercies* that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 Great is his faithfulness; *_his mercies begin afresh each day._* (NLT)

_Fresh Annoiting/ Divine Enablement._

🌱 *Psalm 92:10,* where the psalmist declares, "But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; you have poured over me fresh oil" (ESV), *symbolizing renewal and strength from God's Holy Spirit for service.*


🌱Acts 1:8 (NLT): "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses...".

🌱Luke 4:18 (ESV): "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor...".

🌱1 John 2:27 (ESV): "But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him".

*Meaning & Context:*👇🏽

_Fresh Oil:_ 👉🏽Represents the ongoing, renewing presence and power of the Holy Spirit, contrasting with stale or old anointing.

_Exalting the Horn:_👉🏽 Symbolizes increased strength, honor, and divine empowerment to overcome enemies and challenges.

_Purpose:_👉🏽 To enable believers for God's work, bring joy, break yokes, and provide supernatural ability to live righteously and fulfill God's purpose.

Let's remember it's not by might nor by power but by the Holy Spirit of God🙏🏽🙏🏽.
