These were the words Moses spoke to the children of Israel just before they crossed into the Promised Land. Then, nearly 1,500 years later, Paul wrote to the Corinthian church:
“Do not be idolaters...”
“Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.”
— 1 Corinthians 10
