Hope, dignity, and transformation are taking root in Butembo, North Kivu, DRC ๐จ๐ฉ
CMS-Africa has successfully concluded a four-day Women Empowerment Programme (WeP) training that brought together 50 women from six archdeaconries within the Diocese of Butembo/North Kivu. Through practical training in financial literacy, bookkeeping, business management, self-identity, and financial stewardship, these women have been equipped not only with skills for economic empowerment, but also with renewed confidence to shape the future of their families and communities.
Already, two saving groups have been formed, with four more expected in the coming months, a powerful sign that sustainable change is beginning to flourish. Facilitated by Asha Peruzi, assisted by Jeff Sikabwe, the training reflects CMS-Africaโs continued commitment to empowering rural African women to rise above poverty, unlock their potential, and become catalysts of transformation in their communities.
When women are empowered, communities are strengthened, and hope is restored.
