Read Exod 37: 1-29 and learn, everything God says in His word will exactly be fulfilled (Math 24:35). And only those who do the will of God as revealed in His word will go to heaven (Math 7:21). God warned Moses to make everything as he was shown on the mountain (Heb: 8:5). In fact, all the things used for worship were made of pure gold to show the holiness of God. And because believers receive the Holy Spirit when they repent, they are holy. Indeed, God commands all believers to be holy like Him (1 Pet 1:15). God, who spoke to His people from the mercy seat, speaks to His people through His Son (Heb 1:1-2).

What does it mean to be holy?

Read Exod 36:1-38 and learn, God gives each true believer a gift or gifts to use for the benefit of the whole church (1 Cor 12:7). And church leaders should help the church members to discover their gifts. However, those who feel the desire to preach should tell their leaders. In fact, believers will find in heaven the things they used to serve the church of Jesus. And those who give to the poor, God will repay them (Prov 19:17). And because giving is part of worship, it pleases God when believers give more than the needs of the church. Moses had to order the people to stop bringing more offerings! God gives enough information in His word to guide believers how to worship Him, just as He gave Moses the details of how to build the Tent used for worship. And like Moses, church leaders must ensure the offerings are wisely used.

What should the offerings be used for?

Read Exod 35: 1-35 and learn, those who know God sent His Son to die for their sins must take seriously the word of God. And consider themselves most blessed because God does not save everybody, just as He chose only the Israelites to be His people. In fact, believers should give themselves and everything they have to God because God gave them His Son, Jesus (2 Cor 9:15). And because Jesus came to build His Church, believers must give their best to His work, just as the Israelites gave their best to build the Tent of Meeting. If worshippers are truly born again, they will give without being forced to give. And if preachers are called by Jesus, they will not be greedy for money!

What else is negatively affecting the church of Jesus?

Read Exod 34:29-35 and learn, those Jesus saves, He makes them new in everything (2 Cor 5:17). And this change will been be seen, just as the people saw the shining face of Moses. God will ensure they grow in holiness and in the end they will be like Jesus who is holy (1 John 3:2). And those God saves, He starts the process of making them to be like His Son (Rom 8:29). God uses His word to make them be like His Son. And sometimes God brings problems in the lives of those He loves as discipline ( Heb 12: 5-8). It is true those who spend time with God and Jesus, their lives will be different like Moses!

How can believers spend time with Jesus?

16/04/2025

Read Exodus 34:18-28 and learn, those Jesus saves must be baptized and start to eat the Lord’s Supper. The Lord’s Supper reminds believers the death of Jesus that saved them, just as the Israelites remembered their salvation from Egypt by eating the Passover lamb. Jesus changed the last Passover to the Lord’s Supper (Mark 14:22-25). In fact, Jesus is the true Passover lamb (I Cor 5:7). And because believers live in a busy world, they must rest on Sunday to worship, just as God commanded the Israelites to rest. However, believers should remember God every moment of their lives and offer themselves to God as sacrifice (Rom 12:1). And not forget to use part of everything they have to bring the Good News to those around them.

How is Jesus the true lamb of God?

14/04/2025

Read Exod: 34:10-17 and learn, all those God saves through Jesus are holy and He expects them to separate themselves from the world and sin. In fact, God transfers them from the kingdom of the devil and brings them into the Kingdom of His beloved Son (Col 1:13). Therefore, sin and the devil are no longer their masters. And just as God promised to drive out the enemies of His people as long as they obeyed Him, believers will only experience victory over sin as long as they use the means God has provided (Eph 6:10-18). And believers must not enter into close relationship with unbelievers (2 Cor 6:14-16). And not forget the whole world and everything done in the world is influenced by the devil (1 John 5:19). And pray for wisdom to know how to live in the world and not be of the world!

What should believers not do with unbelievers?

14/04/2025

Read Exod 34:1-9 and learn, God forgives and forgets the sins of His people if they repent. In fact, there is no sin God can not forgive. God told Moses to replace the stones he broke! And no one can do anything to attract the love of God. It is God through Jesus, who brings believers into deep relationship with Himself, just as He brought Moses into special relationship with Him. And because of His love and faithfulness, God does not deal with His people as their sins deserve (Psa 103:10). And even if they are unfaithful, God still remains faithful to them (2 Tim 2:13). This does not mean God excuses their sins. Indeed, God will punish the sins of every generation. And all true believers who will find themselves in Heaven, they will praise Jesus, the lamb of God who satisfied the debt, their sins deserved, by His death and resurrection.

What is the response of believers to the love of God?

14/04/2025

Read Exod 33:7-23 and learn, those Jesus saves can approach God directly in prayer as their Father. However, they must make sure they are children of God. In fact, God does not speak to anyone like Moses because His word has everything believers need to know. Therefore, believers must read the word of God to know God. And those who desire to teach the word of God must be sure God has called them just as Moses wanted God to confirm his call. Those who teach the word of God, their judgement will be more strict (Jam 3:1). And those who desire to know God, they must seek Jesus who reveals God (Math 11:27). And no one can see God because He dwells in the light that can not be approached (1 Tim 6:16).

How can believers be sure they are children of God?

14/04/2025

Read Exod 33:1-6 and learn, those God sent Jesus to save belong to Jesus Christ just as God said the people He saved from Egypt belonged to Moses (Gen 32:7). Believers should rejoice because Jesus will keep them until He raises them on the last day (John 6:39). In fact, the land of Canaan which God promised the Israelites was the sign of heaven where all true believers will live forever. However, believers should not forget they have to fight the devil and the sins in their lives! And because this fight will continue until they die, they must always look to Jesus to strengthen their faith (Heb 12:2) just as the Israelites depended on the angel of God to fight their enemies. And because God could not go with the Israelites because of their constant sins, believers must know without holiness, they will not see God (Heb 12:14).

What is the holiness that believers must have to go to heaven?
