Mercy Said No

On our 1st wedding anniversary, after church service, this wonderful team and I went to the CBD with one mission in our hearts—to preach Christ and win souls. By the grace of God, 32 souls gave their lives to Jesus through one on one evangelism. What a beautiful way to celebrate our anniversary! ❤️‍🔥

But that day, something happened that we will never forget.

A man had snatched a silver chain from someone and was caught by an angry mob. What followed was heartbreaking. He was beaten, stoned and whipped with metal objects. Blood was flowing from his nose, ears and mouth, and the mob was determined to take his life.

Then compassion took over.

Linda (on the right) and I knelt beside him and shielded him with our bodies, pleading with the mob to show him mercy. Linda cried out, even saying she would personally pay for what he had stolen, just so his life could be spared.

We were insulted, pushed, beaten and struck with mateke as the angry crowd tried to force us away so they could kill him. Some even accused us of protecting him because we work together.

But we refused to move.

The man had already returned the chain to its owner, and as we remained there, silently praying and standing between him and death, police officers and city council officers arrived. They surrounded us, arrested the man and dispersed the mob. We were eventually able to escape to the nearest hotel.

That day, a life was saved. Mercy said NO!

That ONE SOUL experienced grace and received another chance to live.

We may never know what God will do with the life of that man, but we know this: Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Every soul matters. Every life is worth fighting for.

We went to the CBD to preach Jesus, and God reminded us that winning souls is more than a ministry assignment—it is a call to preserve lives and demonstrate the mercy of Christ.

32 souls came to Jesus, and one more life was preserved from death. Grateful to JCC parklands evangelism team that invited us to join their evangelism week of reaching out to souls.

When nothing seemed to work,
When nobody really cared,
when the road seemed dark and uncertain,
when we had no one to call for help,
and when our destiny seemed unclear,
When the very space we thought was safe turned against us,
WE RAN TO THE FEET OF THE CROSS.

There, we discovered that we had not sinned too much to receive mercy. We were not too filthy to be embraced, We were not forgotten. We were accepted, not rejected. We received an identity that the enemy had stolen from us. We received grace and mercy that we had not earned. We received forgiveness and became sons.

We love Jesus the way we do because, when we thought all was lost and we felt we had no reason to live, His arms were open wide to receive us, heal us, restore us, transform us, and make all things new.

We are in Christ, and Christ is in us.
We are loved.
We are seen.
We are heard.
And we are becoming more like Him every day.

He is coming again for a washed, purified, and spotless Church, without blemish. And when the trumpet sounds, we will enter into eternity and reign with Him forever—through ages that have no end.

WE WILL PREACH JESUS UNTIL HE RETURNS.

We are lovers of Christ and co-heirs with Him. We will see Him face to face when He returns in His glory.

Until that day, we will keep preaching, keep believing, keep loving, and keep making Jesus known.
YOU COULD BE THAT ONE SOUL THAT’S LOST, TIRED AND DISAPPOINTED, just like were.
I invite you to receive Christ today, He’s been waiting for your yes all these years. He loves and He desires to give you a new life in his.
COME TO JESUS !!!

There is a voice of mercy that calls even the worst of sinners. Saul, the murderer, became one of the greatest apostles because that voice looked beyond his flaws, encountered him, and transformed him into a new man.

What have you done that makes you think you cannot be forgiven? There is no sin beyond the reach of God’s mercy when we genuinely turn to Him.

That voice of mercy is Jesus Christ Himself. He is standing at the door of your heart and knocking. Will you open the door and let Him in? (Revelation 3:20)

He loves you. He is willing to forgive you, and He will remember your sins no more. You are that ONE SOUL who is so precious in His sight.

We showed up by faith yesterday and preached Jesus in 9 buses. As many people said “Yes” to the Lordship of Christ, we are careful to give God all the glory. 🙌🏽🔥

We continue with the GO YE ASSIGNMENT!

Fridays are dedicated to bus evangelism, and yesterday, by the grace of God, we preached the Gospel in 8 buses. The Lord also enabled us to pay bus fares for many people in Kibera, Kikuyu, and Roysambu, giving us the opportunity to share the Word of God with them. Many joyfully received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, and lives were touched for eternity.

What a privilege and a deeply fulfilling assignment it is to partner with God in winning souls! May the name of Jesus Christ be glorified forever! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

A heartfelt thank you to these wonderful labourers whose commitment, sacrifice, and zeal for God’s Kingdom continue to make an eternal impact. May the Lord richly reward and strengthen each one of you.

Fridays are for Bus Evangelism!

Today, by the grace of God, we preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ in seven buses. Through God’s abundant provision, we were also able to pay bus fares and bless every passenger with a small shopping package.

As we shared the love of Christ, we preached the Gospel, ministered to the sick through prayer, and witnessed many people receive the free gift of salvation and the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ. In addition, more than 200 families were blessed with food supplies.

To Jesus Christ alone be all the glory, honour, and praise!

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Apostle Felix, whom God graciously used to sponsor today’s bus fares and food supplies. We are also deeply grateful to CMM Bible School for providing enough Bibles to support our evangelism outreach today and tomorrow.

To everyone who has prayed for us, partnered with us financially, and continually encouraged this mission, thank you. Your support is making an eternal impact.

To our faithful and tireless evangelism team, whose passion and zeal for winning souls never grow weary, may the Lord richly reward your labour of love.

One soul is precious to God. Glory to Jesus for every soul won!
