Today’s service was truly a moment of encouragement and renewal. We were reminded that when God opens a door of blessing in your life, no one has the power to shut it. Human obstacles, challenges, or delays cannot stop the plan of God. His promises are sure, His timing is perfect, and His blessings are unstoppable.

As a church, we rejoiced in the assurance that our God is a God of open doors. He makes a way where there seems to be no way, and He lifts us to heights beyond our imagination. What He has spoken into your life will surely come to pass, because His Word never fails.

Let us continue to walk by faith, trusting that every door of favor, healing, breakthrough, and restoration that God has purposed for us will surely open.

Stay encouraged and remain in prayer, for the doors of blessing are already unlocked in Jesus’ Name. 🙏

we gathered as a church family to comfort the loved ones of our dear brother and leader, L.L. Welson Clyde Astiba (Mokuna). Today marks his second last day in this world, and our hearts are deeply broken đź’” by the loss of such a faithful servant. His faith, service, and dedication to God and the church touched many lives and left a lasting impact on us all. Tomorrow, we shall lay him to rest, and as we do so, let us continue to uphold his family in prayer and give him a decent and honorable farewell. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Today, our church choir and leaders gathered in love and unity as we joined the district churches’ merry-go-round at Mong’oni Church of God. This special gathering aimed to support the Mong’oni church in their journey to rebuild after their building was destroyed by heavy rains last year.

We thank God for the spirit of fellowship and generosity shown today. Together, we are stronger — and together, we shall rebuild!

What a week it has been! For the past few days, our church has been alive with the warmth, wisdom, and wonderful presence of God as we journeyed through Family Week. From the powerful teachings to the heartfelt prayers and spirit-filled worship, we have been refreshed and renewed as families in Christ.

Today, we wrapped it all up with an unforgettable service — a true Holy Spirit takeover! The atmosphere was electric, hearts were touched, and many lives were transformed. We thank God for moving so mightily among us.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and made this week a success — from the speakers, worship team, and volunteers, to every family that came with open hearts. Your presence made all the difference!

Let’s carry this fire into our homes, workplaces, and community. The family altar has been rebuilt — and God is at the center!

Today, our church came together in a deeply moving celebration of Easter Sunday a day filled with love, humility, and powerful remembrance of the sacrifice and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we gathered in worship, we were reminded of the incredible love Jesus showed by laying down His life for us. We took part in a sacred and symbolic act of humility and servanthood the washing of feet just as Jesus did for His disciples. This act reminded us that greatness in the kingdom of God is found in serving others. It was a humbling experience that brought us closer to one another and to Christ.

Following this, we shared in Holy Communion, partaking of the bread and the cup, representing the body and blood of Jesus. It was a solemn moment of reflection, gratitude, and renewal. As we took the bread, we remembered His body broken for our sins. As we drank from the cup, we were reminded of the new covenant in His blood a symbol of forgiveness, grace, and eternal life.

Today wasn't just a service. It was an encounter a personal and collective reminder that Jesus is alive, and His resurrection power is still working in us. The joy of Easter is not just in the resurrection event, but in what it means for us today: hope, victory, and a new beginning.

We left the church today with hearts full of joy, gratitude, and a deeper commitment to walk in love and serve others as Christ has served us.

He is risen! He is risen indeed! Happy Easter to all!

A Blessed Visit from Nyaguta C.O.G Youths!

Today was a beautiful and spirit-filled day at Getembe Church of God as we were honored to host the vibrant and passionate youths from Nyaguta C.O.G. It was truly a special time of fellowship, worship, and unity in the body of Christ.

From the moment they arrived, there was an atmosphere of joy and excitement. Together, we lifted up the name of the Lord through praise, worship, and the sharing of God's Word. The energy, love, and commitment displayed by the Nyaguta youths were a great blessing and encouragement to our congregation.

We thank God for the strong bond that continues to grow among our churches and for the opportunity to share in His presence together. As Getembe C.O.G, we remain grateful for such moments that remind us of the power of fellowship and the beauty of walking together in faith.

May the Lord continue to bless the youth ministry at Nyaguta C.O.G and may we continue to strengthen one another in Christ.
