Who is your hero today?
we thank God for the hero who fought to see Kenya has freedom. But all these freedom fighters were limited and there were things they could not do for us.
We thank God for the GREATEST HERO: LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO DIED FOR US TO OVERCOME THE POWER OF SIN.
Glory be to Jesus.

DO NOT FORGET GOD WHEN YOU PROSPER.
Deuteronomy 8:11-14
¹¹Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.
¹²Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down,
¹³and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied,
¹⁴then your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
** It is God who gave you power to make these wealth.
When you had a lot of needs you used to pray a lot. When you had no money, no job, no husband/wife, no children, no car, no house, no education/skills e.t.c you used to seek God day and night. But now after you got them you feel satisfied, you don't seek God any more. The time you were seeking God now you use it to spend with created things rather than the Creator. Consider your ways and return to God. He is not yet with you. And without Him all these are vanities.

*Lesson to learn*
Proverbs 30:24
²⁴ "Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise:
²⁵Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer;

# Behind me is a structure made by very tiny creatures " the ants" They have no commander, no overseer or ruler (prov 6:7), yet they were able to do all this work.

*We are in end times, we need to prepare well for the second coming of Christ our Lord and savior.*
Matthew 24:6
⁶You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
1 Peter 4:7
⁷The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.

As we are approaching the end of ages, many prophecies which were said have been fulfilled.
Our God is a loving God and does not want anyone to go to hell (1 Tim 2:4). He wants everyone to get saved that why He sent His only Son to die for our sins to reconcile us back to Him.
Israel - Iran war and other wars and rumours of wars are some of the signs to alert you of what is almost to take place.
The 1st letter of Peter is advising us not to allow anything to hinder us from seeking God. For all things will come to end but the Word of God will remain forever.
Therefore brethren, let us seek God with all our hearts and we will find Him (Jer 29:13)
Hebrews 10
37 : For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay.

38 : But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him."

39 : But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

nothing hinder you from praying. The end of everything is coming including the end of those things that makes you not to pray. Have a good relationship with your God through prayers. Pray continually without ceasing and you will be able to overcome in all things.

*It happened for the glory of God*
John 9:1-3

¹As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth.

² His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"

³ "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

As believers in Almighty God, you have probably wondered why people sometimes suffer. It is one of the most difficult of all questions. By our own minds do not provide a complete answer for it. However, scriptures does indicate that suffering is common to both believers and unbelievers. But for the believers there are spiritual benefits in suffering. Let us study the following verses:-
James 1:2_3
²Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,³ because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
1 Peter 1:6-7
⁶ In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.⁷ These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed.
1 peter 4:1 Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin.

The disciples of Jesus had an answer according to traditional Jewish beliefs. Even in O.T. some of Job's friends believed it was Job's sin which brought his suffering.
But Jesus have a different view. " This happened so that the work of God ( power) might be displayed in his life"
In conclusion, in every suffering of a believer God is aware of it and want to display His power through it so that it will be known He is the Mighty God of the Great kingdom which can never be defeated.
* Trust God He is coming in your situation to fight for you and all glory and honor be unto Him forever and ever, Amen.
