Why did the Demons ask Jesus to allow them to enter the pigs and why did Jesus grant their request?

Watch and be blessed!

"There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD" ~ Proverbs 21:30

There isn't a single thought, sign, or belief against the Lord that can be seen as wisdom.

If you find yourself in a place where Jesus Christ is being mocked, insulted, or questioned, don't pay attention to what you hear.

Satan uses people and their intellectual capabilities to convince the masses that the work of Christ is not true.

There is no wisdom in this – no matter what anyone will say. Know that all godly wisdom, which is the wisdom that matters, upholds God and maintains that his sovereignty is supreme.

Verse of the day...

"When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul." ~ Psalms 94:18-19

You know the feeling that you get when you are about to fall?

When can you feel there is no possibility of you catching yourself?

Now imagine at the last moment that God caught you.

This is exactly what the Lord does to us: when we fall, when we sin, when we dishonor Him, He is there.

He never leaves, he doesn't ask for anything other than our love and faith. Live without fear, believe in Christ, for God shall always lift you up.

What's Salvation

In the beginning God created man, and man had perfect fellowship with God

In the Garden, man sinned and turned away from God, and because God is so holy and righteous, he cannot look upon men any longer, because man is sinful

No matter what man does, no matter how hard man tries, no matter how righteous man is after he has sinned, God still couldn't look upon man in his holiness and righteousness because man is still sinful. And no amount of God works can repay God for the offense that man has given him and so man is in a constant state of separation from God.

But God in his love for man, sends his son Jesus Christ who becomes man and lives as we should have lived (in perfect communion and of sinlessness before God) and then at the end of his life, Jesus is crucified

And when he's crucified, God does the unthinkable, he lays all the sin of the human race on his son

When he does that, because he's holy and righteous, God turns his back on his own son and the son experiences the fulness of the wrath of God against us in our stead.

Now we sinners, if we believe that Jesus Christ has died for our sins, we too can now a perfect fellowship with God once again, because when God looks at us sinners, he no longer sees us and he no longer sees our sin, he sees Jesus Christ and his blood

But if a human being who is sinful doesn't believe in Jesus Christ and his righteousness and accept the righteousness of Jesus Christ in his stead, then God cannot look upon him.

In the end, the sinner will be cast in to hell in eternal separation from God, suffering the full punishment he deserves for his sins because he has not accepted the sacrifice of christ.

ARE WE LIKE CHRIST: BIRTH

Jesus came, obscure and humble, a mid a religious routine of disinterested and even antagonistic scribes (Mt: 2:4-6) who handled truth with no intent of following its light from heaven ( Mt 2:2,9,10).

Yet into the darkness if this hollow religion the true Light shown, being witnessed by shepherds who gathered around the Lamb of God. There in Bethlehem (house of bread) the true Bread of heaven was laid in a crude feeding box to be partaken of by all who hungered and thirsted for righteousness (Lk 2:15-20).

Wisemen from the East, men of the world as they were, nevertheless, were led by stages with light from above to finally bow in worship before the Christ of God (Mt 2:2,9-11). It is God's way to lead from the imperfect to the perfect, from the vague to the clear without berating error or chastising the ignorant.

Rather, He sets forth truth to enlighten and clarify instead of merely pointing out errors without providing solutions. And so in the end, these strangers to Israel were shown to possess more wisdom than all the scribes in Jerusalem combined.

ABOUT CHRISTIANITY

Christianity is grounded on several irreducible orientations. These fundamental perspectives are its hallmarks which distinguish it from competing religious claims.

You cannot reduce Christianity to mere creedalism since reprobate men and godless in behavior may ascribe to the most orthodox of creeds without necessarily being Christians! Even those with admirable virtues of character may grace others who have no belief in anything resembling Christian truth may not be Christians.

Only a proper orientation to truth will demarcate one as a Christian. Pharisees were conversant with the scriptures yet were bereft of the life and love of God (John 5:39-42). Cornelius, on the other hand, had many commendable and even godly traits, but was not constituted christian apart from embracing the truth yet to be presented him in the gospel (Acts 10:1-2; 11:13-14).

In other words neither being virtuous nor a doctrinaire will make one a christian. Only truth making its proper impress upon the life will avail for one to cross the threshold into Christianity!
