It was so hard for those Pharisees to understand our Lord Jesus Christ, because they were under the law.

The law was the Word of God in seed form.
The Word was made flesh, and become, not law, but grace.

Grace and law cannot exist at the same time. Cause, grace is so far above law, law is not even in the picture.

It was so hard for the Pharisees to die to their law, so that grace could be born.

The two cannot exist at the same time.
